Alright. So I have decided to buy the Flip HD Ultra but I was wondering is what is the stability like for the flip cameras? Can it stand up by itself or would you suggest buying that little tripod they have for it?

As long as you have a totally flat surface to put the camera in, it has pretty good stability. But I want to get the tripod cuz I have to make a pile of books on my desk so that the camera is at eye-level with me, so if you have that same issue, I suggest getting the tripod. :]
