Thanks. That is how I originally felt about all video games, until I eventually worked up the courage and determination to do a NUR+ on GOWI. Ever since I've made myself get the greatest challenge possible out of God of War games. You just have to find the game(s) that you love so much you're willing to put the effort into them.

I've found some non-time-saving glitch in CoO by inching into battles and staying on the outside of the red barriers.

I've seen that particular exploit in a vid already. I think you saw the guy too.

So far I've seen a High Jump variation, a Homerun effect and rolling across a single beam..I that's the ONLY beam in the entire game...<_<

They have only that beam, but there is (I recall) only 1 "shuffle along ledge against wall" section, leading to a Gorgon eye/Phoenix feather chest.

And actually, this was the first set of videos I watched on CoO (besides demo videos pre-release) because I was too inept to try to block Persephone's charge attack, and I couldn't beat her. (god mode)

High Jump is possible in CoO?? wow. i tried many ways, but i failed.

There is but one that I've seen.  Icarus Lift after an air grab <_<...try it.

Not being able to grab true ledges (IE: any ledge, not just ones necessary to grab) greatly reduces the usefulness of high jumps.

And yes, I can beat the Persephone now, just need timing.

~Have you tried looking for any places where a High Jump would allow unnatural progress? (skips) How about getting over any barriers? They are quite a bit taller then they look...

I can only think of the area with the 2 fire-bomb tossing satyrs and one more on the other side of the gate with a lever before the 3 God of Wind area. If that gate can be jumped, that skips 2 fights and some backtracking. That's not much of progress, however. I've attempted crossing just about every barrier in the game with the air grab jump, no avail. I've experimented with getting a high jump out of GoZ/BoC switching, but that's rubbish to me.

I too had no success with High Jumps. Though there were lots of other successful exploits..

I'll try skipping in a more dedicated manner whilst doing a BP run with MAX crap. Exploit hunting/testing isn't in full swing for me until I OWN the system I'm playing on so I don't feel at all rushed.

There is one time i unintentionally did an airgrab and i am able to do a jump Again. One and only time. wow, i shall try it! Thanks! ^ ^
