Exactly!!! I saw a roast for Willian Shatner last year and Andy Dick was one of the roasters and if he said "F** me up the ass "once he said it 20 times and people were falling over each other laughing. Nothing but poop and vaginal jokes followed. Humours definately slid back about 1000 years.

Phil was funny...and naughty, but clever naughty. Never filthy.

its just not that things are too sexy...the old guys had naughty senses of humour..sex is funny!!!....but its the unbelievably infantile "titties and poop" humour that Adam Sandler and Will Ferrel have made the mainstay of all comedy.Theres no real wit...they just vomit and laugh at retarded people and colelct their millions.

Thanks for posting all of these "oldies". It's true -- entertainment in the past actually relied on true wit, and ironic humor. Classy stuff, some of it.

I am so glad and honored that these archives are here for us to watch. Today shows are so mondane and boring. I was born in 1966 but I remember a better time and a better place. These shows take me back to when I was like 3 years old and remember them! I watched them. I want to show my children how TV used to be wholsome and something the family as a whole could watch!
