@farvision That's a good question. I don't believe a video will give you the answer. This question has bugged me a lot in my life, so I have searched for the answer in the Bible. Here are some of the key verses to look at, but the entire theme is reflected throughout the entire Bible.

Ephesians 1:7, 2:5, 2:8-9, Romans 4:5, 5:8, Galatians 2:21, 1 John 4:19

Now I will also say that I believe when Christ touches some one, he changes them. But the change is a result, not a requirement.

@blues999 The point is that we did deserve that death. We didn't inherit sin, we commit it. Jesus never blamed us for the death he had to die; he willingly surrendered his life so that we might live. If we truly understood that every sin we have committed and every sin we will commit is forgiven by the death of Christ, then our question wouldn't be "what have I done?" it would be "what can I do now for your sake?" We should be willing to give up drinking because of his willing sacrifice.

However, if I were that girl, and I read these comments, I would be devistated by the lack of love shown to one another by two supposedly believing Christians. We are given the responsibilty to model the love of Christ to others, wanting to win an argument publicly is prideful and not a Gospel driven message.

I am saddened by many of the comments left on this video, I must ask the believers whom feel the need to argue about it, do it via private message or email. 2 Timothy 2:23 tells us to avoid these quarrels, they breed anger and hatred.
