  • you should paint the rims red on that thing. our 1486 is very powerful

  • why do you cross work it?, whats wrong with zero-till?

  • it breaks up the clods and makes a much better job we do the same here in, vic australia

  • you should pull a pto combine with that thing. we pull a jd 7701 with a 1486. we have used an ih 1482 pto combine with ours too they are good tractors

  • you know that you could make the bearings in the rollers on the cultivater and make the s-shanks [if thats whats on it] last a hole lot longer if you just pick it up and spin around and drop I use a 3pt 22foot field cultivator you cant turn at all with it its a kmc 5 bar cultivator with double rollers on the back with all s-tines and shovels on it does a pretty good job running around 8 to 9 mph

  • didnt mean to say black stripe just noticed i messed up that comment the guys we help harvest have two 1486's that have the maroon paint scheme to them.
