I was trying to learn this song myself, gave up because it's some way above my level! I like your version, it's got a lot of soul and feeling as opposed to some of the other covers on the Tube which are a bit mechanical. I honestly it would sound even better with a thumbpick and a bit of palm muting, but then I tend to think that about everything!

I've grown very fond of this guitar & one of the reasons is playability. It is short scale - 1 3/4 nut - light strings and after 8 years broken in nicely!! Think I'll go play her for a bit!

Is that necessacry to play this song with fingerstyle? I know that Tommy does it, but could it be played with a normal pick? btw u played this song really nice !

I know TE play with a flatpick, fingers, & hybrid style! Makes me wonder what I think I'm doing!! To my thinking this is best suited for fingers only - guess we should consider what the man himself does.
