Have you noticed that Han Lue (Played by: Sung Kang) stood up from dead in Fast and The Furious 4 ? He died in Tokyo Drift and he is coming in the sequel next year ! I think the director made a huge mistake ! But that doesn't make me a smaller fan of the movies :-P

@cavaliersfan08 yeah i know what you mean. like this 4th one, its good but its got something missing. it strays away from the fast and furious traditions a bit.- has crazy special effects, its not really car racing focused- its more action movie with a side of car racing, too much plot( its sometimes a better experience to go all out action, kind of like RED), there is not really a standout muscle car like the others, 1st charger, 2nd camaro 3rd road runner though i think the monte carlo is cool

@hauntedmemorie Well they are actually different, muscle is more of an 8 cylinder type engine, where as an import is setup up with forced induction as either a 4 or six cylinder motor. and I would assume that you maybe a little uninformed on the topic as front wheel drive cars are not what people are talking about. the front wheel drive cars that give imports a bad name is your Honda civic etc which people tend to spend copious amounts of money on altering the looks rather then the performance.
@hauntedmemorie However, in saying that, there are fast fwd cars, 8 sec 1/4 miles, look it up. All it means is that you cant slide around in them. They have the potential to make the same power, just different taste; fwd doesn't make it gay.
In response to your comment asking where are these fast cars, I'm sorry but America isn't the only continent in the world, that means that these events don't prove anything. If you look you will find. In the end, there is no better car, its just taste.
In the past, the sexiest beast was the 68-70 Charger. In modern times, the sexiest ride on the street is the GT-R Skyline, for all the same reasons. I'd kill for either of them. The biggest issue with American Muscle today, resides in politicians and tree huggers spouting off about global warming this and that. If it were up to the average guys like myself, I'd bring back the essence of the hot rod era, and marry it with some fo today's standards. It seems Nissan got it right for now...

@ofir2008 there fast stock, thats why, and you can make a muscle car fast for way cheaper then an import. that being said ANY car can be made to beat ANY car, all you have to have is money. but muscle is relatively affordable and is fast stock. you have to turbo a import for it to be fast. where as muscle you just go naturally aspirated.

@Nightshade323 completely true. its true that you can soup up a supra to 1300 hp, but it comes stock with 300. so does a lancer. the STI barely reaches 250. yes, handling is good, but because you dont have to put more power into AM muscle, you can spend money in a modified suspension wich are sold in kits.
@machone7I Supras make 320hp stock and were made in 1993! They beat muscle stock for stock back in the day. STis make 305hp stock. Imports don't need bodykits to look good either. And honestly you don't have to put more power into any car its all dependent on the owner.
@Allurian well, supras are damn good designed... but most supras with that power ive seen are engine swapped. and well, i respect your oppinion, but i personally prefer american muscle. they dont look good with bodykits, but for me, they dont need them. they were actually the ones who started the cooncept of tunning and all that. no car before had those rims that wasnt a ferrari, or no car came with spoilers.

@goodfella21f yeah. a BMW M5 can be muuuch better than AM muscle from the 70's in handling... yeah. its logic. 40 years from then. with the money lost on buying an M5 you could upgrade a muscle car so it gets equally good but with no stupid computer helo and hell better looks. and still. compare AM muscle to the '70 120 hp porsche 911 that was known for bad handling and being dangerous. or the 63 ford galaxie 427 SOHC that revved to 7000 rpm to the 63 90 hp porsche 356, wich costed double.

The best drag racing imports aren't allowed in the US. You realize how long it took for the US gov't to allow a Skyline GT-R to get through customs without having to shell out mega bucks? Some of Japan's finest are still waiting to come over here. I'll tell you this much, as great as Corvette has been over the years with the LS under it's hood, Nissan's R34 Skyline Nur V Spec II and it's RB26DETT will kick it's ass without batting an eyelash. And you can take that to the bookie.

why does everybody argue over whats better?...the winner of the largest street horsepower over 1800hp wasnt an import..check out car craft for details..the winner of fastest streetcar shootout has been tim lynchs 10.5 inch tire mustang...some imports are cool and fast...ive got a buddy with a tuned subaru thats bad ass and has whipped quite a few camaros and mustangs asses...theres just somebody bigger and badder around the corner

When you talk about cars you cant resort to making blatant comments like that. I mean your right in what you say, but the reality is that there's no comparison between muscle and import, they are two different setups. But for arguments sake, just because this mustang took out this street competition, does not mean it is the fastest in the world.

@hauntedmemorie Well they are actually different, muscle is more of an 8 cylinder type engine, where as an import is setup up with forced induction as either a 4 or six cylinder motor. and I would assume that you maybe a little uninformed on the topic as front wheel drive cars are not what people are talking about. the front wheel drive cars that give imports a bad name is your Honda civic etc which people tend to spend copious amounts of money on altering the looks rather then the performance.

@hauntedmemorie However, in saying that, there are fast fwd cars, 8 sec 1/4 miles, look it up. All it means is that you cant slide around in them. They have the potential to make the same power, just different taste; fwd doesn't make it gay.
In response to your comment asking where are these fast cars, I'm sorry but America isn't the only continent in the world, that means that these events don't prove anything. If you look you will find. In the end, there is no better car, its just taste.

In the past, the sexiest beast was the 68-70 Charger. In modern times, the sexiest ride on the street is the GT-R Skyline, for all the same reasons. I'd kill for either of them. The biggest issue with American Muscle today, resides in politicians and tree huggers spouting off about global warming this and that. If it were up to the average guys like myself, I'd bring back the essence of the hot rod era, and marry it with some fo today's standards. It seems Nissan got it right for now...

@ofir2008 Muscle cars come from a different time, there almost like Dinosaurs; they are big, loud and bold. They came before any one cared about safety, emissions and ergonomics. Today everyone cares too much about technology; Muscle cars are realistic performing cars that average people could own. Yeah, true that an STI or a GTR is fast in corners but who can really drive them to the limit like that! Where is it legal to race on the street?

@ofir2008 there fast stock, thats why, and you can make a muscle car fast for way cheaper then an import. that being said ANY car can be made to beat ANY car, all you have to have is money. but muscle is relatively affordable and is fast stock. you have to turbo a import for it to be fast. where as muscle you just go naturally aspirated.

That's why people buy import cars you tool. They're near infinitely tuneable not to mention the plethora of bodykits and custom panneling available for them. There are supras out there with 1300BHP smoking your camaros and mustangs over any track. What im saying is ... Go smoke a pole you self-righteous pratt.

Also, make sure you realise that if your referring to a 90's supra, then you must compare it to a 90's Mustang/Camaro. have you seen a 90's Mustang/Camaro lately? they look and go like SHIT! the only good Mustang/Camaros made were 60's early 70's. I don't even think you can comprehend how much power a 1 or 2 j engine can make compared to your Camaros and Mustang motors!

@Nightshade323 completely true. its true that you can soup up a supra to 1300 hp, but it comes stock with 300. so does a lancer. the STI barely reaches 250. yes, handling is good, but because you dont have to put more power into AM muscle, you can spend money in a modified suspension wich are sold in kits.

@machone7I Supras make 320hp stock and were made in 1993! They beat muscle stock for stock back in the day. STis make 305hp stock. Imports don't need bodykits to look good either. And honestly you don't have to put more power into any car its all dependent on the owner.

@Allurian well, supras are damn good designed... but most supras with that power ive seen are engine swapped. and well, i respect your oppinion, but i personally prefer american muscle. they dont look good with bodykits, but for me, they dont need them. they were actually the ones who started the cooncept of tunning and all that. no car before had those rims that wasnt a ferrari, or no car came with spoilers.
