People should know their history before posting such opinion laced comments. Macedonia was not re-established after the Ottoman retreit. Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria divided the territory amongst themselves. Then fought two wars over it. Greece got the lions share of it. Bulgaria was not happy with the division. The Serbian portion became the Yugoslav Repulic of Macedonia. This is the only part that was given independence and now calls itself "Macedonia".

Our community is maintained through hundreds of associations, churches, Macedonian language classes, youth and senior groups, etc. Today, Macedonians enjoy full national rights in the Republic of Macedonia, Yugoslavia. However, Macedonians are denied their rights in Greece, Bulgaria
and Albania.
