I thing this band is pretty good and promises more, sure they aren't on top yet, but they are heading for it, like the sound very much, reminds me of, this reminds me of other bands that started lightly and now are really great, bads such as tokyo police club, whitest boy alive and even mgmt, they started to play small and ended playing big... if you know what i am saying, that is my opinion, i love dutch uncles and i bet they are going to end up a really, really good band

Like paterson0905 said, the song is very talkinghead-ish but unfortunely there is a reason why there aren't many bands in this style.

1 its annoying! new wave and Enya never even wanted guitars

2 Talking head was crap (ok, thats my personal opinion)

3- the band kinda of sound like every instrument its going after a diferent direction, it works for Los campesinos! but i think it was a choice and not a coincidence

@AlphonsePride I respect your comment but disagree with you because:

1 It's not annoying, it has a refreshing sound, ok maybe not a new sound but thats virtually impossible in this day and age.

2 Talking Heads weren't everyone's cup of tea but they still pioneered the music video with "once in a lifetime", way ahead of their time. Which put them firmly on the map.

3 your third comment makes no sense to be honest mate, this is the freshest sound to come out of manchester since oasis 1993

@blazertreyflip theyre a british band. that's why they sing with a british accent. i find bands like blink 182 annoying with their american accents. the word "time" is always pronounced "toime" with tom delonge. so annoying! why should a british band sing with any other accent but a british one?
