Hello mudthrasher, the music in the backround for the most part is co-written by Nathan himself and a great musician and friend Ed Rodimel! Thanks For asking!
The Slayer Nathan is shooting in this clip is new so should be a 2006, if I'm wrong I'll come back on and correct. I do know that there's a new set up for him on the way!
The Bengal is an Awesome bow!! I'd love to have one myself, but was advised to go with the new Leopard, I can't wait to get it!
That was a good video. I have never baited a bear (illegal in Washington) but I just got my first black bear last year, eating maggots off a deer carcus. Good story with your bear, and what a beauty! Also, good speach about our ethical duty to find the animal. I think alot of anti hunters dont realize how much we respect nature and love our hunting heritage.
if you watch the entire clip you can see the bear in question was an aggresive bear, with the safety an issue, Nathan took his leathal shot and the bear was found 10 yards from the bait.
Nathan hunts Canada everyyearand has gained the respect from all of of the Canadian Outfitters he works for, for his ethics and hard work to promote hunting in Canada.
Thanks for watching Wild Extremes on Wild TV in Canada or on Dish and Direct TV on the MOR station! And of course here on YouTube!
Did it loop around? The animal ran off camera and was hit too far back to only go 10 yards. Also it was not an aggressive bear, it was a curious bear.
I take issue with TV shows that embellish. It was a good bear and he wanted to shoot it. He took a shot he felt confident he could make through some brush, but it deflected and hit further back than he was aiming. It was a lethal shot, and the bear only went x (x being > 10) yards. Just say it, no biggie.
THAT is a good bear!

we also don't shoot them that far back and high in Canada either. that was a very poor shot choice and placement.
