  • DRM SUX

Ubisoft burn to hell and Good luck bankrupcy

Good luck you lost one(me) worthy customer

  • DRM makes hacker/cracker/reverseengineer/chucknorris/jesus/whatever you want to call them happy, since it give them challenge to crack and if the game is good, they will also have extra fun.

As for the pirates, they will be happy by laughing at legimitive buyer and playing the game without problem.

As for the paying customers, they will be forced to wait for the connection to the central server then(if lucky and still running) play the game.

So... why should we pay for the game again? =o

  • Ubisoft = Ubihell

  • I think the best place to buy software is at software select. they have everything you can think of. w ww.softwareselect. org

  • I have a legal copy of SC:Double Agent, and i need a crack to play it :p

  • pirates are going to pirate their games with or without DRM. DRM is just a scapegoat pirates use to try to claim a moral highground but it's complete bullshit. Just look at World of Goo. No DRM but it still had a 90 percent piracy rate.

  • Sorry mate but FUCK you look gayer than a gay dood on a really camp day....

  • haha! living as a pirate is an easy life! just ask my uncle! he pirated everything from windows 7 to even STEAM! god forsaken STEAM! huh... wonder how long it will take for LBP2 to get pirated?Que the HAXX counter!

  • Ubisoft can DRM all day long and it won't do a thing to stop the piracy because within a week there will be a working crack for any game they release. The worst part is that Ubisoft games aren't even all that good and they're filled with little things that drive you up the wall. For example, the unskippable Ubisoft logo and the unskippable "This game is multicultural" notice in the AC games. What they really need to do is make their games less expensive and worth actually buying.

  • You bought an OEM version of windows that's why they blocked you, same thing happened to me.

  • ahahahahahaha, he paid for windows

  • he's a bit freaky

  • DRM is fully cracked jut so every1 knows its totaly mega craked since ac2 was released month after game was released the perfect drm crack came out

  • stop buying theyr games that weill teach Ubisoft to fuck whit us

  • [continued from previous comment]

One of the most destructive tactics that companies have used with DRM is gradual change. Back when Steam came out, people were shocked by it. Check out Game Revolution's review of Half-Life 2, which, along with Counter-Strike: Source, was the first game released on Steam.

The real purpose of DRM is to give companies control over how you use their products. Just one example: Valve uses Steam to restrict how their products can be marketed.

  • Although Ubisoft Online Services (UOS) is evil, Steam is also evil.

Although Steam has an offline mode, you still have to get Internet permission from Valve every time you install a game, so since you can't play a game without installing it, it still means that you can't play the game if you don't have an Internet connection or if Valve denies you permission, which Valve is under no legal obligation to give.

    [continued in next comment]

  • I agree 100%

  • loose the sideburns

  • @SASRftw Move out of Australia. Yeah, that one is not going to work ether. You must think your pretty magical, that you can tell random people on the internet to change major physical traits and people will do so on command.

  • @Rememberthe0511 yes, yes i do. now sit back and shut the fuck up while i troll little one!

  • no one asked you to cry to re activate you call and have them activate it its very simple either way Ubisoft's DRM is pretty damn stupid but they put it there because of the pirating so obviously pirating is to blame for all this shitty DRM i mean $50 for a game is not a lot of money play the demo before you buy the game no one cares but all this pirating in the end is killing PC gaming

  • I bought AC2 and had no problems with the drm didn't even notice it.. so what's the big deal? you just POOR? You SUBPRIME ass can;t afford to pay for a video game?

  • Lets see:

Does it stop pirates? No, all their games are cracked.

Does it make the game more playable for the legit users? No the servers go down all the time and you cant play but pirates can.

Is the drm method a good move for them? Nope the servers are down way too often and they gotta spend alot to maintain them.

  • Is there something wrong with you, like terminal illness or something ? If that's the case sorry, but man you are a retard. Why for a change YOU "nerd" start a debugger and try to crack something and then talk your shit.

It breaks my heart that i loose my time NOT making money and making idiots like you use software for free, once again retard like you makes me stop doing what i do.

  • yeah, there's another user that were doing the SC:Conviction walkthough that they legitimately brought and got their youtube account banned by ubisoft for "copyright".

  • punishes? thats absurd. why would anybody in their right mind do that to their customers? ubisoft was just looking for a fast way to protect their product the required the least amount of work. we're in a tight economy and every lil bit of money we can save helps. thats why they went with drm, its a simple program that does all the work by itself, leavin ubisoft to save time and money.

  • @ghostspider Yeah to bad even their newest game was just cracked 2 or 3 days ago. Software that emulates Ubisoft's Servers and so now the pirates can pay nothing for the game and play while off line and the people that payed money for the game have to phone home and say pretty please and can't play while off line or with a shaking Wi-Fi connection.

  • @ghostspider you obviously have no idea how the games industry works

  • @vascoe86 the game industry is trying to punish their customers? if thats the case theyre doing a lousy job

  • @ghostspider Well i did buy the game and, and i being punished by this security shit.

Ubisoft is really fucking their costumers, i did buy a legally copy. But since the suport team at ubisoft, doesn,t answer my request. I cant play it.

Never buy a game from those fuckers.

Ubisoft, if you read this. FUCK YOU!!!!!!

  • assassins creed 2 with drm protection has been cracked..drm has been defeated..=3

  • @kyzeezul to be honest, i dont blame people for cracking that kind of game. mainly because you HAVE to have a constant internet connection to play the game. if it were a one time online authorization, then no problem. but if you have a bad connection, then well, you know the rest.

  • @ghostspider i have legit copy of ac2..yeah..i have bad connection..the new crack of ac2 100% working complete story line, complete side mission, complete all..only got 2-3 bugs on main mission and side missions..this game cracked finally..

  • I will never buy DRM again.

  • agreed but it looks like it hasn't been cracked yet. so gg?

  • screw ubisoft I'm never buying any of their games ever again, plenty of other great games to buy that don't screw over their customers with pointless drm that WILL eventually get cracked anyway.

  • i hope crysis 2 will not use this ridiculous DRM.

  • this a pissing contest or we discussing DRM? anyway.

I wanted to buy assassins creed 2 and command and conquer 4 from ea.

BUT!! not that both companies use DRM hell no i am not gonna buuy thoise games .

I wanna play a game offline on my kickass laptop in the backyard that has crappy wireless connection.

Or some would even at a night of security work on your own laptop.

if my ISP fucks up for a day i cant play my legal games? FUCK YOU! PIRACY FTW

  • Good speech... but a few things.

Silent hunter 5 was cracked in one night, it had a DRM.

Assassin's creed 2 was released about 15 days by now, but it still havn't been cracked.

But even though a lot of pirates have given up and bought the game, a lot still have faith in famous crackers that will crack it.

    EVETYTHING IS CRACKABLE

  • I was totally expecting him to say some raging, opinionated, ignorant things. He didn't say any, I completely agree with everything he said, I love this man and I want him to sire my children.

  • Yeah...so about the DRM....Ubisoft doesrealize that the DRM will get cracked?I hope they do,because it's a stupid idea, until they turn that shit off i won't buy any Ubisoft games.Gaming used to be fun...

  • Do Reinstalling Forever

    DRF

  • he really gives a bad example of windows XP, and really has no idea what he is talking about/ he just doesn't know how to manage his computer and OS. i NEVER needed to reinstall windows XP for over 4 years and had no problems with it, you can do MANY other things besides reformatting/reinstalling. and it's not windows' fault you lost you XP key, which would be the only reason it would say wasn't authentic... but windows 7 is by far the best imo

  • @shocxxxx I did not lose my key. You can only use the same key so many times before it cuts you off.

  • this is just 100% false and i don't know who told you that but its a pretty stupid lie. you are allowed to use it As many times as you want. But you will have an oem version after certain times of activations (I believe 3 times) you will need to call Microsoft to allow you reactivating OS again. which doesn't much longer then activating it online

  • Correct. The message you get when you try to activate online is that you can't activate it any more and they inform you how you can buy a new license and give you a 800 number and if you call the 800 number and say pretty please then you can use it again. But I don't call and say pretty please to use a product I payed $100 for.

  • @shocxxxx

It's not 100% false. I vividly remember adding RAM and having to reactivate windows, as though it's any of their fucking business that I improve my machine.

So yeah, I added RAM, had to call the 800 number and speak to India and have them give me an activation code :P

  • @nosferotica1 yea you shouldn't ever reactivate if you just add RAM, there literally is no reason at all to, it is none of their business if you upgrade, but they don't in any way make it their business you just did something wrong, but you got your key in the end and didn't have to say pretty please. Like i said after 3 activations you just pick up the phone and do it that way, it only takes a few extra seconds. you helped prove my point that it IS 100% false and you can ALWAYS reactivate

  • @shocxxxx

I didn't do anything wrong, the message specifically stated that it checked my hardware profile and noticed a change (increase in RAM) and made me reactivate.

It makes me think they went so far as to say "liek, sa fer instince sum1 liek, tooken their hd and leik, put it in anothr comp to git it 4 free?"

And they said, "Great idea, we will program it to detect hardware changes!"

If you think that isn't DRM then you're confused.

  • Comment removed

  • @nosferotica1 the other problem with what you said is you CAN put other peoples hard drives into your comp and get data off it without having windows know. MANY of the problems i come across require backup and reinstall, i always use windows 7 to do this. it has never not let me access their data, and i always put it on my HD while i reformat their drive. if what you said WAS true it would be exactly like DRM but it isn't and you can take data off other HD's and windows won't do anything to you

  • @shocxxxx

    Dude, I'm not lying.

Tried posting a link, it won't let me.

I'm not trying to be cool by making shit up, it has happened to me and it was explained to me, in detail, exactly why it was happening. There's a news article to prove it.

I don't know what on earth I have to gain from lying to random screen names on youtube about shit that can be promptly disproved with a few seconds at google. How about you tell me?

  • @nosferotica1 the ONLY article i found when i looked that up the guy DID do something wrong which is why he had to reinstall. he kept getting a blue screen, this does NOT mean you have to reinstall. you might not be lying but probably not completely aware of what happened and why you had to reinstall. putting RAM in your computer should NEVER prompt a reinstall EVER on a windows machine. SOMETIMES when switching from Intel to AMD (like the guy in the article) you may need a reinstall

  • @shocxxxx

Well, what I installed was a 1GB DDR ram stick.

You can't fuck that up. And if you didn't see the first result entitled "Microsoft XP: Hardware changes a turnoff" you must be blind. If you didn't click it, you had no interest in seeing for yourself. XP, as a defense mechanism, "takes a picture" of your hardware configuration, and if anything deemed "drastic" changes about it, it will deactivate.

They even refer to DRM in passing.

    Wake up, dude.

  • @nosferotica1 today 2 of the jobs i had to do required me to add RAM, both of them were Windows XP Home. One i put 2GB of DDR2 3200 MHZ the other 1GB DDR3 6400 MHZ. after both i turned the computers on and neither gave me any message of any kind. The article you talk about is speculation about windows XP and it turns out they didn't even use the technology that was like DRM, look at the date of the article June 27, 2001. windows XP released October 25, 2001

  • @shocxxxx

Yeah, and this happened to me as soon as late summer last year.

As it turns out, other video games do the exact same thing, some not even running because you have two cd rom drives.

I don't have anything to prove to you, I know what happened and it was no secret as to why.

Oh, and what does it honestly matter when XP came released and when the article was published if this happened to me only last summer/fall?

You can't mistake the whole process of reactivation.

  • @nosferotica1 i explained why it mattered in my last post.... i guess you didn't read all of it. its because the OS was NOT out yet and it was just speculation, as in its NOT TRUE. They were saying that technology MIGHT come out and it did NOT when the OS actually hit stores. I now know you are just lying because i have spoke with a lot of computer experts and they all said that you were either lying or mistaken. You will never have to re activate for ANY amount of RAM added EVER.

  • @shocxxxx

Dude, I don't know whether to be insulted that you think I have nothing better to do but spread that kind of crap, or be amused at how seemingly delusional you must be.

I don't need your trust to know the truth, I know what happened and I don't need you to believe me.

It exists, whether or not you acknowledge it, and your acknowledgment is another thing I don't need.

    Nice talking to you.

  • @nosferotica1 obviously you are to ignorant to understand something extremely simple, i don't know how you think i could be delusional in any way. Maybe it did happened to you once, maybe it was something you misunderstood and thought you had to reactivate, i don't know. what i DO know is that i have replaced RAM in thousands of XP computers, i have added RAM to different computers using every variation of XP that exists, and i have never ONCE seen the message you speak of.

  • @nosferotica1 All im trying to say is it is a problem people REALLY dont need to worry about whatsoever. for some reason it MAY have happened to you once, but im telling your FROM EXPERIENCE that IF it really does EVER happen it doesnt very often, many people i talked to that have been fixing computers since WAY before XP came out also have NEVER seen this message. so maybe you have seen it, but its something you don't need to worry about since you are the only person that's ever had that happen

  • @shocxxxx

How am I suppose to not worry about shit that shouldn't be happening at all? As I said, it's happening in software games, apparently in a more rampant hand-over-fist fashion, too.

It may suck that it's only happened to me in the case of XP, but DRM is the Patriot Act of Digital Media, in that in order to combat piracy, it treats everyone like a pirate.

Not to mention many end up turning to piracy to get their shit to work anyhow, pirating shit they already bought.

    Irony?

  • @nosferotica1 i have been putting RAM in computers for over 15 years, i talked with all my co workers and associates and they said you were probably just mistaken. They have all been swapping and adding RAM, HDs, and just about every piece of hardware you can think of, they have NEVER seen any message asking them to reactivate. they all said the ONLY time you EVER activate is on a fresh reinstall and no piece of hardware requires this except a fresh HD

  • @shocxxxx

just google "windows xp made me reactivate after hardware upgrade" since youtube is exercising a sort of DRM by not allowing me to post links.

  • @nosferotica1 you would also be surprised at the amount of people that just lie for no reason, you don't NEED to gain anything to lie. and no it cant " be promptly disproved with a few seconds at google." because when looking on google there's only 1 thing that slightly supports what you said, the problem was it never TOLD him he needed to reinstall and he did not install the hardware he had got correctly. he just got a blue screen and decided to try a reinstall

  • @shocxxxx - How is three times as many times as you want? A cracked version lasts far longer. If the pirated version is better than the legal version, there's obviously something wrong.

  • @Shonbi obviously 3 is not as many times as you want, the point is you can get another key with no problem after 3 uses of the same key (sometimes more). all you need to do is call and ask for a new one, and they usually give it to you with no problems and it takes no longer than 10 minutes if there is no problems.

  • you do not need to say pretty please in any way shape or form, it is the equivalent of activating online, you just have to pick up the phone to do it. and i guess you are the ONLY person to get a message saying you can no longer activate your key in any way, because there are no accounts (except yours) of this happening. what it DOES/SHOULD say is that you need to call to activate because you already activated more then 3 times online.

  • and you DO NOT need to reinstall every 8 months, so you shouldn't need to reactivate anyway. whoever told you that you did has no idea how to manage a computer, you can basically reformat without wiping your OS at all, there are many other things you can do to keep your computer running fast, but you shouldn't even have to run them unless your going to certain porn/attack sites often.

  • "but windows 7 is by far the best imo "

Actually it isn't, at least not in it's current state. Service Pack 1 is going to be released 1 year earlier, partly because of several performance issues.

  • dude its an OPINION, an OPINION can't be wrong... I think it is by very far the best and i have 0 performance issues, some people might but not me. i have tried it all and to me it is the best so actually it IS

  • everything you have said is not fact anyway, there is NO official release date, just speculation. and i only read it MAY be because of SOME performance bugs on ONE website and even they said they didn't know if that was REALLY true. it sounds like you haven't even tried windows 7 yet, everyone i know has it and has had 0 problems with it for over a year so far, in fact it helped solve old problems prior versions have had

  • Comment removed

  • I never claimed that Windows 7 is a bad OS, it's actually the best Windows OS ever created, but not in this state. Just because you have no issue, doesn't mean it's perfect. When I go to hardware and software forums, then I notice that the ones with the most problems are people using Windows 7, but mostly with games.

  • "it sounds like you haven't even tried windows 7 yet"

I had a copy of the Windows 7 X64 RTM already weeks before it was released to the public. Explain to me why I'm not using an OS that I claim is the best Windows OS ever made?

  • "going to be released 1 year earlier, partly because of several performance issues."

that is what "on earth" im talking about.

i never said you claimed it was bad, and like i said its not perfect, it sounds like you didn't really read what i posted. like i said I don't have any problem but other people might. i never said it was perfect, but was the best i have used so far.

  • "that is what "on earth" im talking about"

I removed that message 1hr40 before you quoted it so childish from your inbox. Why do you think I removed it...doh!

My comment "I never claimed that Windows 7 is a bad OS" is not referring to what you said dummy, it's making a statement about how I think about Windows 7, like saying "I've never claimed to be an excellent singer and that is something that people always appreciated about me.". It helps if you know some basic English son.

  • Ubisoft has jumped the shark. Man they really are stupid, it's hard to believe that a PC game publisher could be THAT stupid. They must somehow believe that PC gamers by and large will not mind, but I don't understand why they think that way. The ignorant will fall for their trap once, but even the most ignorant consumers will avoid Ubisoft the next time around.

How can Ubisoft be so stupid????

  • it's stupid what they have done forcing pc players to be online all the time. and not taking into account cable problems that will stop people from playing there games im talking about the cables that are underground that run to your house and that transmit data from one corner of the world to the next. very very stupid stupid stupid ubisoft

  • YOu sir have your mouth full of truth, man i'm still pissed of becouse Assassin's Creed II.

I mean.. i payed $60 in pre order just beocuse i think the game it's awsome, and indeed it is, but this non-scense of DRM makes me want to make a crack for this game.. just becouse it's so wrong...

  • They already have AC2 cracked so you can run around through cities. Story mode isn't working, but it's really fast considering that this is a new type of protection.

  • "They already have AC2 cracked so you can run around through cities. Story mode isn't working"

Sorry for calling you an idiot, but you ask for it when you say at the same time "They already have AC2 cracked" and "Story mode isn't working".

  • what for im buying legit ac2?i cant play my own game freely?DRM @$#&@*

  • hey i have every software from net working to gaming in my hard disk are pirated version .Pirated version r better than original version becoz the don't give any problems. Pirates rule!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah I have a legit copy of Windows 7, but I also have a crack copy as insurance. I agree with you 100% DRM is bullshit in all it's forms.

  • You are pretty much right, that people will want to pirate it now, who never intended to play it anyway. Ubi may actually come out ahead here when they finally remove the DRM due to all the extra hype.

  • There is a good portion of pirates (including me) who would never have bought their games anyways. They claim this as a lost sale.. But in reality they would NEVER have gotten that sale anyways. If they want to 100% sell the game, they should convert all games into MMO-s then. Even then, accounts can be hacked. But of course then, it needs 1000x times MORE MONEY for equipment, bandwidth etc. and NOBODY will pay monthly fee for such games. DRM just promotes their loyal customers to piracy :)

  • "There is a good portion of pirates (including me) who would never have bought their games anyways"

You're a liar and you just want to make yourself look better when you play all those pirated games. If no game was cracked for any gaming system, then you would BUY games, trying to deny it makes you just look foolish.

  • no, he doesn't seem foolish in the least and is not denying anything, im sure he has bought many games before, as have i. BUT i have pirated games that i would have absolutely never bought, now obviously not EVERYONE is like this, but the majority of people aren't pirating just to fuck over every company they can. Sometimes people pirate simply because they cannot afford go and buy the game, which obviously means they would have never bought it anyway.

  • Maybe you should take some reading lessons son, because again you fail at reading basic sentences. I clearly said "If no game was cracked for any gaming system, then you would BUY games, trying to deny it makes you just look foolish. "

Read that sentence 5 times, slowly...slowly...

Where do you read that I say that he would have bought all the games he has played?

  • you are one of the most retarded people i've come across on the internet. i NEVER said that you said ANY of that shit you fucking imbecile, you tell me i need reading lessons when it seems like you DIDN'T EVEN READ WHAT I POSTED. i NEVER said that you said

"that he would have bought all the games he has played?" or even IMPLIED it, congrats for being one of the dumbest fucks alive, please do everyone a favor and jump of the nearest bridge.

  • You keep saying things like "i have pirated games that i would have absolutely never bought" and "they would have never bought it anyway. " as an argument for your claim "no, he doesn't seem foolish in the least" in which you refer to my comment "If no game was cracked for any gaming system, then you would BUY games, trying to deny it makes you just look foolish". It's amazing how you lack any basic reading skills, not only of my post but also your own post.

  • And as for all your name calling; it's a typical response of an immature teenager who also lacks basic communication skills. But nevertheless, its fun yo see you so hyped up about this, quite amusing I must say.

  • again you must realize YOU said my OPINION was wrong, that pretty much takes all intellectual credibility away forthright. you really need to calm down and stop trying to argue with people on the internet. you start calling people names then when they do it to you, you call them "immature". it's funny you think im hyped, i actually find it hilarious that someone could be as stupid as you are.

  • Let me see what you wrote in ONE single post:

    - "you are one of the most retarded people i've come across on the internet"

    - "you fucking imbecile"

    - "the dumbest fucks alive"

    - "please do everyone a favor and jump of the nearest bridge."

That dear son is disturbing mental behavior...sigh

  • i really don't care what you think. everything i said was what i thought fit you best, and it absolutely does. I would have never started calling you names if you didn't first, so blame yourself for this so called "disturbing mental behavior". you just say that because your to dull to come up with anything. please now lets agree you have to be one of the dumbest fucks alive to think someones OPINION is wrong...

  • @pswft10

I would never buy anything without knowing what I get.

When you have cash like sand in the dessert, be happy buy crap, get sucked out.

  • don't even bother with this dumb shit, he told me my opinion was wrong.... he's probably just a troll or incredibly stupid

  • Soo true

  • respect dude. what the hell is ubisoft doing? Like my assasin's creed 2 copy that WON'T run with that freakin problem.

  • i bought all games until Securom goes on every PC game... now i have got Piratebay because i want to play games without any internet connection...

  • In non-western countries people just do not have the money to buy the hardware and software. Software here is insanely expensive and you can not touch any software with the average person`s income. Ubisoft does not understand piracy and it treats the pirates as lost costumers but the thing is that pirates would had never buyed the game in the first place.

  • Completely gay, no homo, on Ubisoft's part. Does this DRM go for consoles aswell? Alot of people have a 360 and don't have XBL, so hopefully not.

  • Xbox pirating is way rarer so i doubt it. The main problem is with PC where Ubisoft needs to take drastic measures like this cause they are a lot of people pirating and downloading the game for free.

  • @YOUusetheChakra Rarer? Microsoft just banned 700 000 user from Xbox live for pirating

  • Ubisoft is out of their mind, it's a terrible move and either they want to just end the PC community and get them on consoles or they actually think people will take that shit and be in for, hopefully, a rude awakening by the gaming community. Either way I think they'll lose money. I'm not a PC gamer really but I would have no desire if I were one to play a game where as soon as my connection stutters I lose all unsaved progress in their game (i.e. Assassin's Creed 2).

  • most pirates are people who would not buy the game anyway. some pirates, if they really like the game usually buy it after playing it. believe you me, this drm thing will not stop pirates AT ALL.

  • You are so right ! 5/5

  • I tottally agree with TTT1716, all big companies are in a wave of self grandeur that they thing the customers will put up with all of what they dishout and still buy their products, well, they are WRONG.

My latest mistake of buying a game was with Mass Effect 2, i bought it i weep my 60 euros and i vowed to never EVER buy another game from EA and it seams ubisoft too since i dont like suits calling me a pirate when i paid for the goddamn game and i have to use it when THEY want me to, HELLNO!

  • @DarknessKnight666

What are you talking about? Mass Effect 2 is great, I bought the deluxe edition just to support them, It has no DRM whatsoever (Steam version).

  • @DarknessKnight666 What was wrong with ME2? It's not the same concept as the DRM, it's just EA's startegy of getting people to buy games new instead of used by offering free DLC content that comes as priced to someone getting it used. You don't need an internet connection to play ME2, in those games by Ubisoft you will need it up at all times and lose all unsaved progress if you disconnect.

  • @LambOfMusic

    Sorry, but you're a dumbass.

  • Comment removed

  • @LambOfMusic

EA isn't the one doing this hard core DRM, its UBISOFT

    Lrn2Read

  • you be soft

    you better be so

  • Back in the day, piracy on games was rising. They required you to put the dvd inside the dvd drive and they thought "haha those pirates are screwed now!". Soon after the nocd patch was released. I seriously think people are going to do the same thing with this, probably running an emulation of fake ubi servers on their own computer, like a private server almost. What do you guys think?

  • Awesome man. I just did a video about this. These companies are insane.

  • If it would help against pirating I'd take all that shit because the money we pay is invested in new games so it's pretty obvious that we have to pay. BUT as you said DRM-Games are crackable. Buy games of Paradox for example: They don't use ANY COPY PROTECTION and they still sell games ... Don't fight against your customers and piracy, fight WITH them against piracy !!! Make good games and they'll be bought.

  • The only thing DRM will do is kill non-MMOs and make it very unprofitable to make them, if Ubisoft wants to make sure all games are only playable online then the non-MMO games lose the only advantage they have had over MMOs, which is portability and convenience which is why most people buy them.

  • hate DRM, good against pirates.. very pissing for legitimate owners

  • who said so

pirates started from now to crack drm

and i think they will do it
