I've seen the Russian, English, and Italian version of this song. I have say that I think the French is way better. HOWEVER, out of the 3 versions that I mentioned, this one had the BEST harmony(if that's what you call it or whatever) when they all sing together. (NOT better than the French version though). Can't wait to see the rest!

@Hauntya no its not very different , they have simply translated the english version which is also taken from french , the meaning is almost the same in most of the parts

I love this o.o I just find it odd that not one single thing (besides the language) is different from the French version. I just know in Theatre when you adapt a play there's always room for interpretation. I'm just surprised the costumes or some of the scenery isn't different.

Honestly, I find Korean version rather quite... I find their way of saying Esméralda really cute xD. But , I could really laugh when the man that playing the role of Patrick Fiori [in French] says "Oh Fleur-de-lys!", and when the priest says "Oh Notre Dame !". This is just too adorable xD.

Finally, I am sorry, but the French version, the original is still the best...

I think the italian version is the best, but it's amazing to listen this version, I didn't know that it exists. (Sorry about my english, I'm from spain u.u) I think Spanish version is OK too, so look for the videos of Thais (Esmeralda), She's not Lola Ponce but she sings so good too. En effet, Notre de Dame de Paris restera une œuvre française, car elle a été écrite par Victor Hugo. Cependant, si l'on parle de la comédie musicale (ce de quoi on parle) c'est bel et bien québécois. Deux des personnages principaux, Quasimodo et Frollo sont joués par des Québécois et la pièce a été réalisé par Luc Plamondon.

This version is incredibly good! The stage set-up is quite similar to the original, but the expressions of the actors are amazing. The tightness in Frollo's face and the despair in Quasimodo's... I applaud them for bringing so much of themselves into this production!
