Madden is fantastic, but with rpg like gameplay options (careere), perhaps a storyline option(?), and better presentation, training camp cuts (franchise). Oh, and as for classic games I'd rather they have 10 teams with all the correct names and pics instead of this nonsense with a trillion generic 'classic' teams that are really only identifiable by their uniforms. Perhaps an all out polished up feel could make a game that is already deep a lot better.

i think ea looks to in to madden. they just need commom since. like i say get rid of franchise mode, and rele fine tooth superstar mode. i mean have me do practices that are legit. when i have a good game, or games, i get on the nfl network, i maybe do an ppepsi commercial, have a ton more options for the mirror thing. better camera angles (ps2), make it were the o-line actually block, make an animation for holding so its nto at random, and the ball be able to go anywere, not on tracks.

This isn't new technology, ESPN football 2K5 on Xbox had all of these "new" features that Madden supposedly added. Of course, they could have them because there simulation mode was garbage, but they had them nonetheless. Because EA Sports bought exclusive licensing to market NFL games, you'll never see another ESPN football game, but they were the first to have "realistic" in game animations such as sideline/endzone catches; gang tackles; even tip drill interceptions.
