One thing that I love about all these religious fanatics is the fact that even though the constitution clearly state freadom of religion & that nothing dealing w/ god was added till the '60's which was technically illigal that they are still trying to convert everyone to there religion, if you think about it they are religious fashists.
I worked in Belgium, like 6 months, 4 a koppel of creationists as a household aid since the woman is a 90% invalid. Nice people who gave me lots of extra dow and pressents. Ratings and democracy are overrated. They only reflect popularity. We know talented/high IQ people are a minority while the majority consists of uneducated, ignorant, low IQ individuals. The entire rating system must be changed to reflect more important aspects of the video. I think that if you are a scientist, your vote should count twice: one science point and one popularity point; if you are an artist: one art point + one popularity point; and so on. If you are nobody - one popularity point.
Is there any real evidence to suggest that this voting bot had anything to do with creationism, or that the person that engaged in this was a creationist? If there is, then forgive me for saying this, but it seems like condemning an entire group for something you don't even have evidence a single one of them has committed, sort of sends the wrong message. Even if one creationist does something, it doesn't mean all do. It's like saying all Muslims are suicide bombers, the logic is just incorrect.

I agree it would be "fishy" to get a large amount of votes in one day, in one direction. My point was specifically that in this case the evidence does not support it being a bot that did this.
Thunderf00t has dozens of videos and probably all of them were votebotted not only 2 as you think. Secondly youtube has algorytms in place to hinder or slow down attempts at macroing, so that also can explain why its not so fast on the videos presented and lastly, we're talking about creationists, since theres no difference between a creationist brain and that of a bot it was probably someone that spent 6 hours registering a multitude of accounts and spamming 1 star votes.

votes are limited per account over time. for even a bot to make votes, accounts are required a user has to make the accounts, link them to a bot and let it rip. it'll vote as much as it can with the accounts it has access to. just because the moron doing it is too lazy to set up enough accounts for it to vote through does not mean it's not a bot.
I don't know if I agree with your suggested solution, the moment some sort of order begins to be implemented from the top you have a mechanism for control and manipulation. This leads to possibility of abuse by the respective authority. It remains a fundamental Political Theory problem in need of a clever solution. It might work if any account that submits the same vote number to more than 10 videos in a given time period is blocked from voting for a period of time the same way you are blocked from commenting more than a limited number of times in a given period of time. Wont stop the "bots", but will make them linger long enough for sock puppet accounts to rack up some serious online hours.

I live in the Netherlands and I consider myself to be more free here than in the US. This is despite the legelization of weed in the Netherlands. I pretty much know no one which smokes it on a regular bases and I even heard a rumour that the percentage of people who smoke weed is larger in the states than here.

After all, 1,232,456 is about as good as 1,222,456.. except, once you remove the 1,200,000 extra votes from "bots", it's 10,000.

It might work if any account that submits the same vote number to more than 10 videos in a given time period is blocked from voting for a period of time the same way you are blocked from commenting more than a limited number of times in a given period of time. Wont stop the "bots", but will make them linger long enough for sock puppet accounts to rack up some serious online hours.

I live in the Netherlands and I consider myself to be more free here than in the US. This is despite the legelization of weed in the Netherlands. I pretty much know no one which smokes it on a regular bases and I even heard a rumour that the percentage of people who smoke weed is larger in the states than here.

Since Jesus spread the message that "God loves everyone", then why can God not love homosexuals?

Yes. wereismyballoon. They do. If *they* are actually voting. It's the use of "bots" and dupes (in the sense of hired or coerced persons) that violates the ethics and morality of "one person, one vote". Regardless of who is doing this, it is wrong. It is also a common tactic. It's called "Attack by Dilution". It's used to dilute votes by making them seem trivial. After all, 1,232,456 is about as good as 1,222,456.. except, once you remove the 1,200,000 extra votes from "bots", it's 10,000.
