Many nations have gone through this. Even if America does, we will recover - although this will be very difficult. The key is, America has an abundant amount of natural resources and are fully capable of supporting our own nation and economy after a collaps. We can manufacture and produce but it will take an economic melt-down to make this happen. We will recover.
