I work at a golf course in a small farm town an hour east of Montreal and there`s nothing quite getting to spend the day looking over 200 or so people calmly walking hitting golf balls on nicely cut lawns, talking about their days and chatting over drinks in the afternoon sun while little fluffy clouds float over... as I wash and repark their golf carts with a water hose.

@RileyELFuk : I strongly disagree. It is the closest to the original version, which I first got around 1991. Every time I hear it, I think of my daughter, who was born at the time.

What I like best about this version is, it's the one that has the best voice sampling sequence and the dreamiest music score, to me, it's an Ode to Womanhood.

But like the ancient greeks used to say... Taste cannot be discussed!

@VieuxMalcommode It may be the mix you first heard (often the best to the observer), but it has additional rhythms, a new bass-line, and additional keyboards added, that frankly ruin it IMO. I don't know what mix it is, but youtube.com/watch?v=FHixChYgGR­I is an edit of the 12" I bought in 1990. As to the question of taste, I can't argue with you there.

@RileyELFuk I admit, listening to the version you linked to, that it is beautiful in its own right. Some of it I actually prefer to this version, but I find the drums overbearing ;)

In any case, this is a exceptional song with universal appeal, judging by how many versions were eventually produced...

I finally found what version it actually is, and it's not the 1990 version, sorry about that! In fact it's the Cumulonimbus Mix from 1992... Hope it helps those who like this version the best!
