Barracuda.. not 'Cuda... The 'Cuda didn't appear until 1970.. Basically a 'Cuda is Barracuda with more options, more engine choices available..I.E.. The Hemi, 440 six Pack, 383..etc.. basically, the 'Cuda meant you could get a big block, Dana 60 rear.. BB 727 Auto, and more trim..

The "addition of weight in the back" is a yes and no question. They placed the engine in the back, or shall I say in the middle. Thereby it got it's name, "Hemi Under Glass", since the Hemi-engine was visible under that huge rear deck lid. However, that and the transaxle is the only "adition" of weight, that I know of. Please correct me if I'm wrong
