The other band members decided that it was bringing Nightwish down, so they decided that Tarja and Nightwish should part ways. If you go to the actual Nightwish website, you can see the letter that Tuomas and the rest of the band wrote Tarja, explaining this. Nightwish had no choice. Tarja was being stupid. End of story.
