A regular round shape (maybe a bit stretched) would do fine - and you wouldn't have to toss any dough.

Your cheese joke got a big laugh out of me. I just wanted to tell you that. I have eaten calzones before and have always wanted to make one at home. I used to make pizzas from scratch at home several years ago which were good in their own way. I put 4 sticks of string cheese in the crust to make my own cheese stuffed crust. I have some cooking segments on my channel.
