Funny, but Dynasty in 1989 was borrowing 2 storylines that Falcon Crest did years earlier, the WW2 Nazi treasure, and the Catholic priest falling for a beautiful young woman and questioning his vows. Though Falcon Crest was a campy mess at the end, when they did those 2 plot lines years earlier they did it better than Dynasty. They had Lana Turner on the Nazi storyline, and Ken Olin as the young priest. Much better actors.
