I had no problem with the movie itself being in live action style but I agree with some of the comments here that a remake of the film needs to be 100% animated.

All I have to say here is the opening credits were ace and the first half and hour of the movie was no bad then the plot started to deteriorate. Lorri Petty's performance as Tank girl kept me watching it till the end.

@youngrobbo1 i think they should do it with Fairuza Balk as Tank girl, she actually auditioned in the original and would have been better than lori petty in my opinion. And I think Fairuza would be able to show Tanky's devious side much better; Also they would have to make Booga cooler, yeah hes ***** whipped but he is not a moron!

who's the female singing this version? i had to argue with a buddy that it was sung by a gal when he played the soundtrack until mark mothersbaugh only did the vocals. i like this version better.

@djgambitron Mark Mothersbough remixed it and altered his voice electronically. He did similar tricks on other albums. The version here is only found on the Tank Girl OST

I've looked forever for the version of this song with the female vocals; I prefer it to the straight-up Devo version. I had the soundtrack and remember being disappointed because it was NOT the one with the female vocals, as I recall. Could have been wrong, but that disappointment sure seems memorable...

Yeah it's Devo, but I wanna know who the hell is doing the vocals on this. The lead vocals are a female singer. They also added some sweet bass effects on this too. I can't find jack on who did the add ons and vocals anywhere though.
