@xocreme : hmmm.. we don't really know haha but because if u live in indonesia, you're gonna remember main places, like the mall, or the monas, or etc. We just have the sense of those places, so it's easy to get everywhere in Jakarta. And everytime you're lost in Jakarta, (or anywhere in indonesia) you can always ask ANYONE in the street about how to get to a place. They'll surely know. Even slump people know the roads.

i had a very bad experience while travelling to jakarta

when i arrived at the airport, There werent even trains connecting to the city from the airport.When i arrived in the city by taxi, it was hard for me to even get around town without using taxis since there werent even any light rail systems,

I seriously think jakarta is outdated compared to other cities in south east asia such as singapore, kuala lumpur or bangkok.All these cities have good light rail systems making it easier for tourists

all cities have their issues, ivé myself has visited kuala lumpur, if you are in the heart of the city, it is somewhat clean, directly outside the inner core, you got rabies rats, roaches, people sleeping on the ground outside. I live in Malaysia. Sorry KL means nothing for me compare to Jakarta. Jakarta only has 9 carrefours. The whole Malaysia no more than 10. Shopping malls 20 times bigger than in KL. KL quiter than Jakarta is very normal since the total population of Malons is 1/8 of Indo. Even other cities such as Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Seremban, Melaka city are worse. Sorry, but i have been in Malaysia for 6 years. Nothing to visit. Everything is boring. Believe me.
