Haha No speed limit my .... believe me.. if you drive 200km/h they'll take your car! No speed limit doesn't mean you can drive as fast as you want.. you need to drive save.. that means at about the same speed as others!
Mercedes-Benz has a great program also. We pick up both of our Mercedes-Benz from the factory is Sindelfingen, we also live in Germany for 10+ years so we did more than just test drive our Mercedes-Benz on the autobahn.
@lhrmeonom Yes, most Germans do speak English. As children they take English for up to four years in school. Wether they choose to speak with you in English or not is a whole another matter. Most are very nice, and our EPD experience was most enjoyable. Can't wait to pick up our 2012 E-350BlueTech.
@bryanb16th Thanks! This answers my question because I am a BMW and a Merc lover, and I want to visit the museum. Do you know if they have the European delivery program for BMW?
@lhrmeonom Yes, there is a European Delivery Program for BWM. In fact I've heard many great things. Just visit bmw.us and search for EDP. You will find a list of the cars that are available under the EDP, along with prices listes and stated savings. 7-9%. The trucks, (X3,X5) are not available with EDP as they are built in SC.
@lhrmeonom You're welcome. U can get the 535i using EDP. Also one thing I love about ordering from the factory is you can add options they are not available stateside. As long as you have the money they'll add it. We have so many extras on our Benz that when we finally brought they stateside the dealers thought it was Euro spec'ed. Also you may love the 535i but if you can drive the 530d it's awsome. They'll let you order it you'll just have to put a US CC on it. Lastly remove Speed Limiter.
