The whole thing about "music changing" is pretty dumb. The only thing that changes is audience taste. Example: Metalcore becoming more prevalent in recent years over-taking popularity from traditional hardcore punk. But if you look, real hardcore punk is still here. Totally unchanged. So the whole "music changes, get over it!" argument is pretty much invalid when trying to seperate/defend the present scene from the past scene. Something just becomes popular and people ride the bandwagon.

In a sense, this is a change in the music world because this shows that music has evolved and continues to develop as time goes. Thus, a bran new styles have been created whether its been influenced by other styles or not it still shows that music is changing.
