bill richardson would be good at the state department also. ever since i saw biden on meet the press i have been very impressed. the one thing holding him back is that he is afraid of going over the average voters head, and rightly so. he is the ONLY canidate on either side that actually has something to say on iraq of any value whatsoever.
i love what he said about there being no difference b/w what mothers in lee co. vs. mothers in brooklyn want for their kids....we all want what's best for our children. the only differences are cultural and maybe financial...but in reality we really do all just want our kids to be healthy, happy and be given the opportunity to fulfill their potential at the highest level possible. wow i've never really paid much attention to this biden fellow, but my head is certainly turned.
Lets judge Biden's record. This little weasel just voted to give Bush his 100 billion with no timetables. He's all talk and no action. Nothing changed for Joe since the 2006 election. America isn't ready for another Bush Enabler, they want REAL Leadership. Biden hasn't had that for 20 years.
Yeah, Let us judge Joe Biden's record. Why don't you find out WHY he voted that way at that time. Because he knew that vote would go nowhere, the president would Veto and the special equipment ordered on that bill would never get to the troops. Thanks to the funding, 70% of deaths & casualties in Iraq may be avoided. He also knew that his vote could cost him the election because many in his party may not be able to SEE what he had done was what Had TO BE DONE. Thak God he can see!
As a postscript; Hillary & Obama were going to vote this way also and waited to see the vote tally and when they saw their vote would not be needed to pass this - they flip-flopped their Vote to the politically correct side so that they did not need to take the heat you are giving to Biden = who voted his Conviction, and not to satisfy a Political Agenda.
Isn't it? Go buy some Little Country Giants at CDbaby or iTunes! They're a great band and friend of us Young Democrats and gladly lent their talents to the video - and turns out the father of the bassist is a big Biden supporter as well!
If Joe Biden doesn't make the nomination (which I hope he does) he would make a great secretary of state. Since he is already chairman of the foreign relations committee, I wonder if he would consider being the secretary of state as a job he would rather do.
He would be a great Sec State, but might still have to yield to the policy priorities of a less savvy president. I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure he's in the White House so he can lead us to a foreign policy we can be proud of!
I like this guy.
