@ionut96100 If your gamemode name is my_name.pwn and my_name.amx you will have to open server.cfg file and change replace the current gamemode name by my_name.. Like gamemode0 my_name

@ionut96100 SAMP one? I think you mean your gamemode file. Save it in gamemodes folder and your .amx file will be created in the same folder.

I see my server on the "Internet" tab in SA:MP, but but when I click on "Server Properties", I only see the port; I don't see my IP.

What's up with that? I think that's another reason why my friends could not see my server.

@spind0g If you only see :7777 it means your server is not visible to others.

@bhaveshnande everythin's alright, I suppose. announce is set to 1, samp-server.exe runs properly, my firewall's configured to allow SA:MP inbound connections.

What could I have possibly missed?

To sum it all up, I don't see my IP on the internet tab; only the port. AND my server isn't online says typefish - when in fact my samp-server.exe is running.

Or could it be that I need to have my own weburl? I don't have one. My server.cfg uses sa-mp.com

@spind0g You dont need your own weburl, try changing gamemode in server.cfg to any one of the available gamemodes.. Maybe you missed to allow your samp-server.exe through your windows firewall..

I tried other gamemodes, but no luck. Still, I don't see my IP.

@bhaveshnande you mean, when adding my server to my favorites? Yes, I did. And that's what I give to my friends, but all of us get stalled on "Retrieving server info.."

@spind0g "Retrieving info" can be caused because of many reasons except firewall and routor

1) Your friends are using same ISP as you are

2) You gave your friends wrong port, you have to set it in server.cfg default is 7777

You can check whether your server is online to the outside world here : typefish(dot)co(dot)uk/samp-co­nn/

Speaking of ports, I use 7777.

Before I even visit typefish, my "samp-server.exe" is already running, yet, it always indicates that my server is not online.

P.S. Thanks for helpin me man. Been browsi'n shitty tutorials but nothing can solve this problem. All they say is "portforwarding".

@spind0g Yup you cannot play with people with same ISP, check if you are using correct IP address, use one from ipchicken(dot)com

Anyway, I created a server in SA-MP but my friends can't join it. They tried adding my IP, but no luck. It stalls in on "(Retrieving info...)"

I don't have a router, so I don't need portforwarding, right?

My SA-MP is allowed on the firewall.

My 'announce' is set to 1

I mean, everythin's set. I just don't know why it doesn't run.
