  • with a voice and style so unique we need more of it!!

  • It is truly a blessing to hear Liz again and with such a talent ask Yann Tiersen. What an exciting combination, please give us more.

  • try in here..."Martina Shana...improvisation live"...if you like Elizabeth...Martina will make you cry.

  • this is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever listened to - it's of eternal beauty - immortally placed at the back of time

  • @spielmountain Totally agree

  • Never would have imagined this person behind this voice. One of the most beautiful voices god ever gave someone...

  • etereal

  • it's been 28 years now since i fell in love with her + still i adore elizabeth fraser.. this is sublime...

  • She is so beautiful.

  • How can this be ?

The doing of nothing transformed from a science, into art.

  • Elizabeth Fraser - how do I love thee, let me count the ways....

  • Mother of God-cutting Vinyl at Abbey Road? Plus this Music.Deeply moving!

  • She is an angel.

  • thank you thank you thank you

  • lego hair!

  • Wonderful . Liz 's voice is simply clothed and filmed here.

  • Always love to see videos of musicians applying their craft in the raw. Superb !

  • so shy though even in a French environment ...looks like she is wearing Lego hair though ..voice still amazing

  • @cocteaua lol...lego hair..i luv it. :o)

  • the Bird, the Queen, the Lady. how this is perfect.

  • too much talent in one spot...

    the universe is shaking

    douglas

  • This is a brilliant video- unconventional. Elizabeth Fraser is literally a hidden gem- she could appear when you least expect it due to her privacy, while fans only hear of it after the fact. I find it so wonderful, so mysterious that even though she was frontwoman for Cocteau Twins, she only appears on soundtracks. Having to really search for her like hidden treasure.

  • Can somebody send me this songs lyrics?

  • Yann Tiersen is a fucking God.

And Liz is a fucking Goddess.

  • I love her voice

  • Yann Tiersen + Liz Fraser = An EARGASMIC moment in music!

  • oh heck all the 20 years of following Liz I never noticed! shes a lefty!!!!

  • in what way?

  • OOOPS not politicaly.

    I ment left handed 1:35

  • glad that's what you meant ;O)

strange that cos she's always held the mike in her right hand...

  • I've obviously been so mesmerised by her voice these last 27 years that I didn't pay attention to the fact that she does actually hold the mike with her left hand...! :O)

  • after watching her live vid (Millim...enary) in Sweden in 84 then I checked other vids too

  • Wonderful, thanks for sharing.

  • How exciting to see Liz' creative process! Even if it was just a moment of it! Thanks for sharing.

  • Liz!!! In all her glory <33 so lovely seeing her in the studio

  • pure beauty in this song

  • This song makes me cry...

  • Such a wonderful minds and beautiful talent.

    This is pure inspiration.

  • i love yann tiersen too

  • i know!!!!!!his songs makes you cry

    i love yann tiersen!!!!!

  • I don't know why his songs make me cry always, he has such a great power!

  • beethoven, mozart, and yann. :D

  • If Liz's voice could be sang to all the babies in the world, this planet would full with much more happy and loving people. She's something totally out of the ordinary. A genius.

  • Wow...Is her voice not perfect?!

  • I love her. She never fails to amaze me.

Please Liz make a solo album!

  • Yes, dear; makes a nice contrast.

  • oh my gosh!!! I LOVE her!!

  • On the Cocteau Twins song Seekers Who Are Lovers Liz sings the line "the breath of God in my mouth". Never a truer word spoken (or rather sung!). The world would be a poorer place without the voice of Elizabeth Fraser. Still hoping for that much-anticipated solo album...

  • All these years and I didn't realize she was left-handed, which makes no sense because she always held a mic in her left hand...I just never caught on.

    +10 to legend status...

  • i love liz!!!!!

  • Where are these tracks from ???

  • Nevermind, just put my reading glasses on. Doh !

  • yann tiersen and liz together..perfect ! just perfect..

  • the world needs more Liz!

  • Very nice video, is there more footage on the making of this film? I like the shot of the machine cutting the acetate at the end. Also, Elisabeth Fraser's voice is hauntingly beautiful... so glad I got to see Cocteau Twins when I was in high school.

  • In what language is she singing?

  • cool.... at abbey road studios

  • like the circling pan of the yann guy,... and liz writing in her notes book.
