Mortal Kombat is way better than Street Fighter in my opinion.

Street Fighter may have a superior fighting system (3 punches, 3 kicks), but Mortal Kombat has blood, gore, fatalities (as well as other finishers such as Friendships & Animalities) & it's much darker & more violent than Street Fighter.

As far as fighting game franchises go, Mortal Kombat is my all time favorite & Street Fighter comes in 3rd.

I will never show as much respect toward SF that I do MK & 1 other fighting series.

I pretty much agree with everything you said..Street Fighter does have a better fighting system, but Mortal Kombat is just so sick because it has wicked characters, story lines, FATALITIES of course, more blood and gore and all of that in combination makes it my favourite choice out of the two...

@Skarface721 My 2nd favorite fighting franchise is Killer Instinct. It's actually not too far behind MK in my opinion.

Killer Instinct is a game not many people know of (last time I checked & these were people my own age some of whom had Super Nintendos). Didn't get past the 90s

It's got a similar button layout like that of SF's & every (CPU) fighter is confined to a specific stage (examples: Orchid-City Rooftop & Jago-Tiger Shrine) like SF but it has blood, finishers & monster bosses like MK.

hahah thats actually so funny that you say that cuz me and my boy were playing Killer Instinct for Super Nintendo just the other day!! we felt like playing an old school game :P loll I used to love that game but trying to play it now I suck at it..mainly because its so hard to pull off combos using the SNES controller...but going through my collection I realized I have it for N64 too so I gotta definitely play that one soon too cuz I kinda forget Killer Instinct Gold...

@Skarface721 I said it would be cool if Killer Instinct 1 & Killer Instinct 2 (though I've only played it in Arcades a couple times & didn't get very far) were brought to current generation consoles.

It should either be both games on 1 file that can be downloaded and/or both games on 1 CD that you can buy in stores (which is my preferred method of buying video games).

Some people (myself included) would also like to see a Killer Instinct 3.

I also wanna see an official MK vs KI game.

yeah putting both Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2 on current generation consoles would be pretty cool too but I meant an actual new game...playing Killer Instinct 3 with the original characters and stages with today's graphics would be SOO sickk...

and an MK vs KI game would also be pretty badass

@Skarface721 If MK vs KI ever did exist, you could do 15 fighters from MK & 15 fighters from KI.

From what I know, KI only has 15 fighters total so yeah, you'd have the whole KI roster available to you.

From MK, I'd wanna see..

Regular fighters: Nightwolf, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Noob Saibot, Reptile, Liu Kang, Jax, Sonya, Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Sektor, Cyrax or (cyber) Smoke (1 of the 3) & Raiden

Bosses/Secret playable fighters: Goro (sub boss) & Shao Kahn (big boss)

That's just my idea.
