Wizards Metal Polish is the BEST polish on the planet! I'm not sure what that tube/bar is that you are polishing but if you have a simple hand drill, wrap one end with electrical tape to protect the metal, chuck it in the drill and now you have a mini lathe! Put your polish directly on your rag, engage the drill and press with the rag while sliding up and down the piece. Put tape on other end and repeat! Works great for sanding as well!
