The reason that Roman Polanski wasn't extradicted back the United States from France is because France does not extradite its citizens to other countries. Only foreigners get extradited. Being that he was a naturalized French citizen, the laws apply to him also. However, should he have commited the same crime in France. He would have been tried and imprisoned here (France) for his crimes committed on French territory. If RKelly went to France, he would be sent right back to the USA.
