I am a percussionist. And I have to say I am very disappointed when it comes to Percussion Ensemble music. This is a good example.

Hardly any of it is musical. More often than not, is it disjointed, erratic and just plain obtuse. It's even worse when it comes to music written for percussion and orchestra. What's the first thing the composer does? Haul out the book on dissonance, look up weird time signatures and take a bit of LSD.

Stick to level 1 4/4 time because you clear don't understand anything about a higher level music.

Its not free, and if you use it for your film you might be in copyright violation. You need a mechanical and sync license, which isnt hard to get, and THEN you can use it

Wow, so it's been around for a while. It sounds like more of a new age piece though. That's interesting, so I could have possibly been correct?

I'd like to understand what inspired this piece. With the air raid sirens, concert snares, bass drums, gongs, it reminds me of The Vietnam War, or WWII. It probably has nothing to do with that, but thats just what it sounds like to me. I really like the piece, and you guys played it very very well!!

It would be great if you could add some comments about this work and the first performance. It is my understanding that there were several well known composers rather than percussionist on the first performance. Great to hear this again.

Classic piece! Sounds like a good performance to me, though as a pianist I'm not really qualified to judge. I took part in a performance of this as a student at music college in 1986 and the volume of sound generated in some passages was amazing, far more than viewers would guess from watching a YouTube video!
