I use in this mission The Arbalest 155KG + Cauldron 50 rocket + long spear HBP. Is the best combiantion in this battles. But the grav. cannon is the most pwerful weapon in the game.

i used the grav cannon on the heavier ships mainly it will destroy a destroyer is a smal charge but cruisers need a spped shot and the battle ships take about 2 full charged shots

lawl. for me, i use the Grav Cannon + Piranah Anti-wateva missiles + condor 105am (the big rocket that splits into 10 small ones). and i love using PRO controlz - so i can constant speed of 800 =D

Woah, I used the same weapon configuration when I played. Grav cannon + Those anti-matter based rockets + the missiles that split into smaller missiles.

For some reason, I like playing the song "We Will Win" from Robotech during this mission. I don't know why, maybe because this battle reminds of the battle in Robotech.

what difficulty are you playing on? no matter where i hit it, i can't kill a battleship with only one grav cannon shot....

I played this before, their's a sheild generator under the battleships.

heres a tip, NEVER fly in a straigt line while going against a ship , that sa good way to get blown to pieces in the game if you are going on a straight path shift your fighter left and right so that they cant target you so easy

i think its called the Maelstrom Bomb, and i have used it. to put it simply the Maelstrom kicks the crap out of all other anti-ship weapons

try using the buillet shaped missile that can be mounted on the bottom of your ship that thing creates a black hole that destroys not only the ship that it hits but any ships with in a radius of aproximitly 7 feet. deadly and pretty
