I read both "The Sage of Darren Shan" and "The Demonta" and loved them. I have all the books of The Demonta and i have 4-12 in the books of The Sage of Darren Shan :D I'll be getting "The Thin Excutioner" soon n.n

I loved every book Darren wrote especially the Darren Shan Saga since it was the first series I read by Darren. I tried convincing my friends to start reading the series but with that damn Twilight craze and all, they just won't think of it. The Twilight series(can't compare to these books) pretty much ruined EVERYTHING about Vampires. Darren's books about Vampires, though different in some ways, still sticks true to the "Vampire rule". It's frustrating explaining that it's not all about "love".

It was re-released recently under a different name then Darren Shan. They were re-released again under the name Darren Shan but before that (when i read them) they were D.B Shan.
