  • TAPE THAT SHIT DOWN!

    Made my night. xD

  • You spelled bass wrong...

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck this I'm getting duct tape

  • instead of speading time doing this get a job to buy a real drum set

  • I recently bought a set of drums and I'm having a problem with my left bass and hi-hat pedals drifting away. I did a search on here looking for real answers and I was led to this? Guitar Hero? A bunch of nerds playing nintendo? I started on drums(real drums) 33 years ago, I went on to the sax, practiced untill my mouth was too sore to eat or talk, went on to guitar(real guitar) honestly practiced untill my fingers bled. On the to violin, banjo and harmonica, all self taught. Get a life DORKS

  • MegadetH !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell yeah!!!!!!!!

  • Why dont you just get a Phatfoot drum harness for your pedal? NO MORE Sliding! That's what all the pros are using.

    phatfootusa

  • yay 4 megadeth

  • MrMadgil

No. And I'm mad about that. It had to use my crappy kick pedal from the old drum set for the new one

  • im waaay to lazy for that stuff

  • my dad is a woodcarver/artists.he makes these things for me all the time.he even made me a portable rock band drum kit stand thingy.

(thumbs up this comment so everyone knows):D

  • BASS not BASE

  • @KOGAN1221 its base for the drum kit

  • @MHZNOMISS oh lmfao

  • My friend has an amputated hand and he could play

  • Can't play guitar hero without fingers?

    Challenge Accepted.

  • does the guitar hero drum set come with 2 bass pedals?

  • oooooooooooooor ger your rug and put your drums on it

  • great. I have carpet -.-

  • Or, you could just get some non-slip material and put your pedals on that.

  • great VID!!!

    keep up them coming

  • guitar hero kick pedals suck like shit

if u touched a real drum set, u'll know what I mean

  • Thx Thx Thx

  • tape that s**t down!

  • or you could get carpet cause it has a piece of velcrow on bottom

  • use grip padding, like what some use for shelves, that works great too man

  • where did you get your second kick pedel? i cant find them anywhere here in ohio.

  • Why would you bother cutting out the pedals? with one big board you could drill holes through the board and pedals and bolt them to the board. Easily done. No cutting off fingers etc. You don't need to tape down to the ground and the drum stand has no issue with movement.....Sorry I'm not in favour of this mod!

  • TAPE THAT SHIT DOWN!

LOL, Awesome! A Very Ingenius idea tho.

  • Megadeth fucking rock man! metal on brothers!

  • lol at this tip.

  • and u can play guitar hero w/ no fingers... u can sing on guitar hero.

  • @yodafanyodafan Did you see anything about vocals in that video?!

  • well...no...sorry...

  • um tape the pedal to the ground saves the 60 min you would spend cuting the wood and you get a better result -.-

  • this is retarded. if you're going to tape the wood down to the ground why wouldn't you just tape the pedals to the ground... saving you all the marking, measuring and cutting time.

  • well said

  • lol. i agree

  • @mitchoner idd:)

  • isnt there velcrow on the botom of the pedals... the time u spend makeing the stupid wooden things u may aswell lay down carpet....

  • whats the song anybody?

  • Megadeth - Into The Lungs Of Hell

So Far, So Good... So What! (1988)

  • not worth it

  • great mods, great idea ;D but too late for me, i use a bug carpet and play on it :)

  • or...you could tape the pedals down...

  • duct tape doesn't work i don't have carpet or wood in my room. Just CONCRETE and every time i duct taped it to the ground it would come of during the first song and i have tried duct taping it in many different ways. I think this is a good Idea if your not lazy, which sadly enough most of this country is.

  • they make this magic stuff called carpet too :)

  • haha epic win comment xD

  • loool there is no point of this vid there are more simple ways xD anti sliding carpet ore other shit xD

  • just get some of that rubber non skid stuff that u line cabinets and shelves with. it'll work

  • do ppl not get that if this guy came up with this idea, he probably tried all the others first and they didnt work?

  • dude... JST DUCT TAPE IT TO THE GROUND... so much un needed work. is this a joke vid? lol

  • just play on carpet..

  • no u still have the problem, plus with carpet i think it makes it double kick

  • wah?? the pedals have velcrow on the bottom so they dont slide..and how does carpet make it double kick??

  • ...or, just get two mini rugs!

  • Or just use carpet!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a sticky thing on the back, good use for a carpet! god,

  • still doesnt work, thats the point of this video.

  • Wow, really. why would you go through all this work. for guitar hero. tape them to the floor!

  • why not just tape the pedals down that would save a whole shit load of work

  • that seems like a metric f**k ton of work when a simple strip of carpet is all you need. my pedals never move and i havent modded anything

  • INTO THE LUNGS OF HELL!

  • or u could use velcro.

  • lol nice or u can just stick the pedal on a rug

  • or goto family dollar and get a 3 dollar area rug the smallest size that they got and put the drum kit on there and then the pedal's it works great and plus the pedals stick cuz it is carpet so all you need to do is move the rug when ever you need to get it out of the way

  • TAPE THAT SHIT DOWN !

    lol.

  • Hey bro, thanks for sharing your tips. Anyway, I have another idea. I have put non-slip mats for the pedals and the drumstand. It works well too. But yours is better. Coz u are using wod to support it. Hopefully u can share more tips to modify the guitar hero drumset. By the way, do u have any idea how to repair broken and cracked cymbals? or maybe can make our own cymbals?

  • You should try to read up on the Guitar Hero and/or Activision support site how to retrieve parts (like cymbals). I never had any succes with fixing it myself.

  • i just used the smooth side of a poster board.

  • ...or you could just stick your whole drumkit on a small carpet^^

  • I still experienced slipping/sliding when using carpet. It's alot less, yes. But not 100% slipfree. Some songs in the Guitar Hero: Metallica last 8 minutes, so by the end of the song my pedals had moved all around the floor.

  • haha i just screwd it to the floor

  • instead of taping it to the floor find a way to attach the wood to the drum stand that way wen you move you dont waste tape ...... nice video to

  • I taped the pieces of wood to the floor to prevent the entire kit from moving as well. When playing on the Expert+ level and heavily pounding all pads (not to mention using dual pedals) you might expierence that your drumkit is sliding away as well.

  • HAHAHA TAPE IT!!?!? Wtf just use a rubber latex piece under the wood or just put some rubber latex piece on the floor !

  • damn smart!

  • wow thats really smart awesome mod man

  • Nice vid, but lol. I never expected you'd tape it to the floor :D

  • how about my rockband set

  • this is a pretty good vid. 5/5

  • U can´t play guitar hero with no fingerz!

    lolol

    5 stars epic tutorial

  • what if you wona move the wood lol

  • You can always remove tape.

  • nice video is nice
