Most players choose very loose fiiting helmets. if you look at any game , college or pro, on several occassions the helmets pop off. This , Manning incident, proves the danger of the practice. Back in the 80's but more so in the 70's or even the 60's, rarely if ever did helmets come off. Back then the suspension helmets fit nice and tight.

Most players choose very loose fiiting helmets. if you look at any game , college or pro, on several occassions the helmets pop off. This , Manning incident, proves the danger of the practice. Back in the 80's but more so in the 70's or even the 60's, rarely if ever did helmets come off. Back then the suspension helmets fit nice and tight.

You have to look at a wider spectrum than just one year. For example if you truly think the Cowboys or Vikings aren't top teams because they went under .500 in 2010 you obviously need to rethink your logic.
