  • Hi Jazzy....Just wanted to thank you SO VERY MUCH for taking time out of your schedule to make this video and share your talents with us. After paying $50 for a private lesson to make a wire ring just like this, which took 1 hour, (my instructor made the ring in 10 minutes & did nothing much else w/me) I came home frustrated that day until the same night when I found your video. I couldn't believe how easy it was! Takes practice, but you are THE BEST teacher! xoxoxoxoxoxox :-)

  • Hi PHOTOXITY, Thank you so much for watching our videos. We sure appreciate your nice comments. At this time, we do not have a video with the loop for charm dangles. Hmm, perhaps that will have to be a future video for us ;) Thank you again for visiting. :)

  • I've watched lots and lots of videos on how to make a wire wrapped ring and your's is the BEST !! Clear and concise and great close-ups of the ring. Thanks so much for sharing with everyone. Do you have a video of a wrapped ring where a loop comes up in the middle where you can add charms or small dangles ?

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video and write to us. We really appreciate it. Hoping you have fun making lots of rings :)

  • Really informative and well made video. Thank you very much :) ~PaganGlade~

  • Hi again angisme99 cont. Your geode will look like it has an X or T on the top. You can do some cool things with the wire by taking your needle nose pliers and pinching sections of the wire and then turning your pliers and it will make bends in the wire while tightening it at the same time. There is a bracelet on my website in the 'Jewelry Gallery' made out of little pebbles - I call it Rock Wrap- it will give you an idea of what I am trying to describe. 17th row down - 2nd photo over

  • Hi angisme99 Thank you for the nice words and for taking the time to watch the video. I am guessing your geode slice is not drilled with a hole, so you may want to take wire and wrap the wire as you would wrap a present/gift with ribbon (where the ribbon covers all 4 sides and crosses over itself in the middle). Then turn the 'geode upside down- so the wires come off the bottom and then wrap them around the mandral 2-3 times and then wrap them on the sides of the band, as in the video.

  • Excellent video with great instruction! Thank you for this! I am trying to learn how to wire wrap a geode slice for a ring- would you have any tips? Would this type of wire wrapping work?

  • Hi bananashaveice- Thank you so much for watching! We appreciate your nice words. Once you get started making these rings, you will be hooked! They are fun to make and wear :)

  • Love your tutorial! I've been peeking at others & your instructions are the best so far!! TFS! I can't wait to try this!

  • Hi Jazzy. Excellent video. I like the bracelet on your left wrist with the different color rings. Do you have a how to video for that or do you sell that style. Thanks.

  • Hi kelsohart- Thank you for watching the video and thank you so much for writing. Hope you are going to enjoy making lots of rings! :) Jazzy

  • Hi kaliemarie89- Thank you for writing and for the nice words. It took me awhile to get the hang of it. Lots of wasted wire :) A bit of practice and it will become easy. have fun! Jazzy

  • Hi ceeycee1972!

Thank you for taking the time to write! We appreciate you watching the video(s).

Glad to hear we could help. :)

  • Thank you so much for this video. I've been looking for detailed tutorials since the classes @ my local bead stores keep getting cancelled. : (

  • Hi weenbaby

Thank you sooo much! I sure appreciate the nice feedback. I am so excited that you liked the video. Thank you for taking the time to write. :)

  • I have just started making these rings, and I have to say this is BY FAR the best tutorial. I have burned through 10 yards of wire and haven't made a decent ring until watching this video. Thanks!

  • Hi when making these rings do you have ideas on how to sell them?

  • if you going to do, say a craft show or something like that, where you don't know the customer's size in advance, I would suggest making a variety of sizes 6,7,8,9 (make full sizes) make lots of size 7 (that is the most common size you will get asked for). If you are going to sell them on a website, you can make one, take a 'stock' photo of it and let people know they can order them in their size and then custom make them as the orders come in. You can also try selling them eBay the same way

  • Hi there!

Cut about 24"-30" of wire - you will have some wire left over, but it's better to have more than not enough :) You can use the extra wire to make your own earrings. We have a video on how to make your own ear wires and it's super easy. Thanks for watching. Jazzy

  • @jewelsbyjazzy

    Thank you!

  • so approximately how much wire should you cut for this ring?
