sometimes hair stylists need to just shut up and listen to their client and what they want...unless they want like 30 colors in their hair and a mohawk then yea ..but if someone wants bangs then give em bangs and if they dont look good with it thats their problem... i wanted red hair with black highlights and the lady told me absolutely not i wouldnt look lady like...like seriously ...sorry had to vent..

Hey your hair looks great! And i totally understand the bang thing, i wanted straight across bangs and my stylist talked me out of it too...personally i would cut yours bangs gradually, like do a short more noticable side swept bang and then after that u can always go shorter! hope this helps!

i really like it, it frames your face and there is bounce and volume, not that you had a problem with volume at all. you can put your part on a side instead of a center part. it makes the cut look totally different.

LOVE the hair. it really suits you. I too am at that point in my life...my life is so boring! i totally get you when you said that you do the same routine over and over again. Right now I wake up at 6am, get ready, classes at 8, go home then pretty much be in a "school mode" all day everyday. My hair is about as long as your b4 pictures, and Im getting it cut on my bday.. I really think that your hair cute is very nice, I love that you have side bangs. It actually makes your face look prettier. Also I don't think you should cut your bangs to make them straight. If you had that look before then don't get it. If your looking for a change and something different then leave it like this for a while. I think it looks healthier , brighter and darker. i say yes for straight bangs ! really if it doesn't look as good as you'd like, bangs grow so fast and within 2 weeks you can side sweep them which would also look good !

I think that if you love straight bangs then go for it! Just go somewhere else and tell them you have had them before and like it (if they try and talk you out of it) and if you get them cut and decide maybe you dont like them, then just pin then til they grow out :)

its called a fringe bang...I have the same face shape as u and wanted to get those bangs also but my hairstylist told me the same...but i do think you should get more of a side swept bang..the one you have now like u said just kinda lays there..it could be more swooped. I think you look gorgeous with that haircut and I really think that you shouldn't cut your bangs straight because it will make your face rounder and will not be flattering (if that word exists...)... but despite that if you want to just do it... if you already had straight bangs and liked it... it's one more reason to do it... because what matters is if you like to see you with that or not... and after if you don't like... well hair will grow again!!! sorry for the huge coment... :)
