@ToNyEsP95 Dude, he's mixing in what looks to be his dorm room. He never claimed to be a DjMag top 100 or anything. Chill the fuck out. There's nothing wrong with MIDI.
@joeinferno23 no, it has all the channels and inputs to be used as a regular mixer but i wouldnt recommend it, it serves as a midi controller much better than a mixer
@segretBAZZO are you blind? what do you think that big black cord running along the side of the desktop? its plugged into the back, you can see it just left to the furthest left blue light
Nice video bro, I just purchased this console, I can't wait for it to arrive. I'm finally making this transition from Software to hardware. Keep it up!
Going into "Bendj- Me & Myself" did you not hear it being insanely offbeat?
I swear to god I facepalmed IRL. It's one thing not to know how to fix it with CDJ's that can't autobeatmatch for you, but you've got a LAPTOP... it takes no skill to hit autosync, and even less to not be able to hear such butchery.
actually it wasnt offbeat at all, listen to the mix on the sidebar and you'll see its just bad quality, i must admit that i could have turned the bass down for the transistion, but as for being "insanely offbeat" i blame it on the bad quality of my recording, not the mixing
It's even *more* noticable on the sidebar link. Totally offbeat dude. from 5:35 to like 6:15, but only 6:15 because you kill off the other song to have another come in abruptly =/
you should never put a dj down, he's doing what he can. how would you feel if someone picked on every mistake you do. people like you dont deserve to dj, you prob jus do it for the status and think your amazing when really your shite
I never put him down, I was pointing out a simple mistake. Get your head out of your ass.
You'll never succeed if you think shitty performances are gonna get you anywhere. You need to be able to hear and accept your own mistakes.
If you're too delusional to realize you're doing it wrong, you'll never improve. I've got students of my own and if any of them had an attitude like your's they'd find their asses looking for a new teacher.
It's called constructive criticism. Rest of the set was good.
cool mix man hey i have a question for you though is the contrloer reiliable enough cuz i heard alot of bad reviews on the vestak 300 about frezzing up on you in the middle of gigs so i was wondering if this thing has ever frozen up on you is it reliable enough like for a wedding and club work
great choice man, first off is that, if your using Virtual DJ, you'll only get great sound out of it if you USE THE RMX'S SOUNDCARD, using the computer's will make the music sound distorted when changing the equalizers, other than that it works great and ideal for mixing club and dance music
koo mixing and track selection .. but you should try recording ur mixes to the computer den combining da video and music together for better sound quality
yeah i thought aout doing that but the point of tenminmix's is to show off your live mixing talent rather than record before hand, that's why i have the link on the side
oh yeah and thanks for posting yours as a response to this, your mix is sickk but you should post it to the one that mine is, that way you'll be able to compete in the competion and get more views
Great tracklist. Never heard the Villains remix of buck in here. I would recommend smoother transitions between songs. Take out the highs of the second song, and have them play together for a while, so it's not just one song followed by another.
the virtual dj software is about $300-$350. You can download a 30 day trial version to see if you like it but if you buy it you can download a ton of effects. the console he is using, the hercules rmx dj console is about $350. However, when compared to $1200 turntables, it seems like a great buy.
yeah I totally recommend VDJ with this controller, the program is $350 but you get a $150 discount when you register your controller so its only $200, however if you were to play mainly hip hop i would definitely go with tables, but for this kind of music this is perfect setup for a beginner
Any shot you have the better quality file somewhere you could upload? The download link is broken and I actually enjoyed the mix.
