Hey Frank.....You've come a long way, your tone is sounding sweet and you've move to the heavy stuff, I'm proud of you bro, keep up the good work, all the best in kidderminster. B
Hey Man Its Nel B Sure, Bro, You are Sounding Better and Better Everytime for real, Keep it up, WHen You come to NY we will definitely do something in the Studio.
I'm totally with crazydaisydoo on this one Frank. Excellent job, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. The only real obvious intonation problem I think is with your C#, which is a tuning problem on alot of saxophones. I've had several horns that I had to pay real close attention to when playing that note and adjust for it. Otherwise, your feel and interpretation of the song was just lovely. Keep it up man!
I like the sound of it but I like personaly I like a bit more shrpness whn I hear a saxophone but that would not sound very good with this song. So it sounds very good but this kind of slow jazz isn't my thing but when I listen to this I feel like I'm in some dark bar and listening to jazz and I like that feeling so terrific job. Five stars all the way
Hi Frank, you have a really nice sensitive touch and feel about your playing. You improvise well over the 2nd chorus, wonderful melodic lines. 5 stars from me. My only critical comment is to watch the tuning, and it is something I have done as well, be sure to tune to the aebersold, not your tuner. (The aebersolds are a bit out) I would say you are very slightly sharp here, not much, but a tiny amount, not enough to enjoy the performance though. Great job!
Many thanks for the comment, your videos have inspired me I think they are great I love your version of Misty and now you have Black Orpheus and its sounds sweet Thanks again
