Aquaclear AC 50 Test

well i had an aquaclear 100 ten upgraded to fluvall 305 which is made by the same people and the both made that noise after a few month. Found out that lubing the impeller rod with vaseline(which is safe for the fish) does the trick now my fluvall makes less noise then my Eheim.

the noise is mostly the vibration of the lid, i took my lid off and just slightly rested it on top of the filter. problem solved.

i have the AquaClear 30 and makes the same annoying rattle from the impeller ...geez i've changed mine 4 times now and the same .. now i hear yours rattle to ....gosh it's not only mine...

i have this filter too. it is just the noise of the motor box hitting the glass/plastic.

I just bought the AC 50 model too. The pump also makes the same noice as yours...hopefully it slimes up and stops the noise. How's yours working?
