What does a codebot do? Because I never did the swimming parts like this

It unlocks the door on the planet where you defeated the mechs with giant clank, its near that building where you get transformed. Just go up to the locked door and the Codebot will unlock it for you. Inside there is a gold bolt and a shit ton of bolts.

in the room where u talk to clanks mom, there is a green versa target. use the swing shot to get to the gold bolt room.(if u need help the room is marked green on the map[u need mapomatic])hope this helps.

It's not a weapon, but a gadget called the Gadgetron PDA. It lets you buy ammo at any time with needing to go near a store.

Too true. Insomniac clearly setting up the mystery of his home world in ToD. It's not Veldin, it's Fastoon. I wonder If Veldin was originally Ratchet's home planet in the Ps2 games, but Insomniac might have then intentionally Retconned that piece of info about Ratchet and changed whatever past we fans thought he had. Good old Insomniac. They'll keep us guessing Throughout every game. 1st class series, and ultra 1st class video Gorgabash!

Actually it isn't retconned, in ToD Tachyon said Ratchet's father sent Ratchet to Solana from Polaris. On some point in time after Ratchet reached Solana he must of came onto Veldin and spent the rest of his life there until he met Clank. Until ToD, Ratchet thought he was born on Veldin so he called it his home his whole life.

Of course, his father sent him from the Polaris to Solana Galaxy to get away from the threat of Tachyon. Soon enough Ratchet must of ended up on Veldin and spent the rest of his life until he met Clank later.

A very astute point. I had forgotten about Ratchet's father sending him to Solana. I wonder, however, if Ratchet's father used the Dimensionator to send him to Solana. After all, Ratchet's father was the keeper of Dimensionator and it seems like the safest way to get Ratchet off Fastoon without running into Tachyon or any of his forces.
