@gilgamess it may not be a song about christianity but its by a christian artist, jon foreman (the singer) is from christian rock band switchfoot but also has several solo albums and fiction family album wth songs like "lord save me from myself" which are obviously christian this song jus wasnt about God

@stratobeast When I first heard this song, I looked them up and read pretty much what you posted. What I didn't know is that the channel I was watching aired videos that were secular, albeit from artists that primarily record Christian material. By contrast, years ago, Sam Cooke made the leap from Sacred to secular and when he reunited for a one-off with his old group, the Soul Stirrers, he was booed offstage. I wasn't offended by the Fiction Family I am just stating that times have changed.

They're probably on a Christian channel because Sean Watkins was in Nickel Creek, a bluegrass band that occasionally had Christian songs. Now that Sean is one half of this band, not too surprising that the old fan base would rattle.

I saw this on a PASTE Magazine DVD sampler the other day and liked it so much that after watching the video a couple of more times in a row, I can't get this song out of my head. Good stuff.
