  • Wow,I live about 15 minutes away from there, almost forgot about that lake.Used to fish it often for crappie. You all do any good there?Catch any of those Muskie they stocked?

  • @slowbowvideo This was actually my first time fishing in maybe 15 years. Not sure what kind of fish they have, but we caught nothing that day since it was the middle of March. :)

  • @masterren Shoot, you were only three weeks early.Crappie bite well there in mid April.Largemouht bass not long after.Muskie...well don`t know when they bite,I never caught one.You should go back and give it another shot.I`ve got some crappie fishing tips in my video Frugal Fishing II that would work well on that lake.Drop by my channel and give it a look.

  • @slowbowvideo I've only tried there once for Crappie (recently) but I'm sure it's too cold for them. I heard that they retreat to deeper water when this happens which made me think of a depth map I once saw for this lake ... looks like one can walk from from the parking area by the Clarksburg Rd bridge and be within casting distance of 20-30 foot water right by the bridge ... I wanna give it a try sometime soon but was wondering if you've ever tried this? I live close by in Rockville by the way

  • @dcmetromikeREALTOR

Don`t know if you`ll catch them there, never really fished right there at the bridge, but yes,you can park along the road there (at least you used to be able to,have not been through there recently) and walk down and fish the bridge abutments.

  • @slowbowvideo what kind of close-by fishing is good nowadays?
