I drove through there as well that night, probably around the same time. I was traveling in I-44 headed toward Joplin when I heard on the radio that the tornado had touched down and stuff on Rangeline was gone. So I went south to Monett. When I got there the sirens were going off so I turned around and headed back to Aurora. Long story short, I drove toward clear skies for awhile till it caught up with me in Spokane, MO where I stayed and made my way back to branson after 41/2 hours.
@CrazySirenBoy Whoops, didn't see that there. Also, I commented before the information processed, so the title wasn't what it is now. Belleville has a 2001 at Firehouse Crossing. One night, I went to the game store with my buddy during a tornado warning and the 2001 roared through the entire building complex. Hurt the ears a lot.
@XxjoshthedragracerxX When you're under a siren, the sound doesn't travel downward as much, so you won't be getting the brunt of the 2001. When I was beside one while we were under a tornado warning, I was about 200 feet away. With the horn pointed at me, the sound was intense enough to make my ears begin to ring intensely.
You see a 2001 at 1:45
