Egyik kedvencem volt. Tervezem megvenni DVD-n.

Amúgy volt egy betétdal, talán abban a részben, ahol egy pasas betegeket segített a halálba. Szomorú, kicsit karácsonyos hangulatú zene, hang alapján néger férfi énekelheti. Nem tudja valaki mire gondolok? (Ha nem ebben volt, akkor bocs, régen volt már, és amikor néztem, akkor az a csatorna épp a top 5 sorozatomat vetítette egymás után Ó, azok az isteni vasárnap esték...)

Nem fogod elhinni, de épp ezekben a percekben rakom össze magamnak az itthon ki nem adott DVD-t. Sajnos alig lesz rajta magyar / angol válaszható felirat, mert nem tudnak időzíteni a srácok, nekem meg nincs arra erőm, hogy mind a 22 részhez időzítsek - csak az első 8 részhez találtam magyar feliratot, abból 2 ami jó, a többi timingje kaki.

Lesz egy egyszerá menü - alá is tettem épp a muzsikát, amiért thx, hogy feltetted.

Bárki bármit mond, ez a sorozat nagyobbat szól, mint az X-Akták. Ez inkább az emberi gonoszsággal foglalkozik, azt próbálja bemutatni és meglehetősen hatásosan: eddig mindig rossz érzéssel álltam fel a fotelből...

A harmadik évadot nem adták ki DVD-n itthon, de azért meg lehet szerezni, ha valaki egy kicsit ügyi.

@Puncimonster - én magam is sokkal jobban szeretem a Millenniumot mint az X aktákat... A harmadik éved hiányától meg falnak megyek, múltkor próbáltam megvenni Berlinben, de ott meg már elfogyott a boltokban, amerikában meg nem okés a régiókód... állítólag év végén jelenik meg Szlovéniában :) a letöltés nem opció persze!!!

I just found out about this show. I'm 16 now, and was 3 when it premiered. The X Files is one of my favorite shows, and Millenium sounded even more like me. I can't believe was couldn't watch this..

I'm reading now everything I can about the show, and all I can think is "It couldn't have stopped on the 3rd season. There should be more episodes." And I haven't watched a single one, yet.

@Hammertime5150 My suggestion Hammer is to either rent it from Netflix for instance or simply buy it. Pay attention to the end of the seasons comments by the principals of this endeavor especially Chris Carter. SOMETHING happened the third season to end things and his comments are guarded at best by the season three liner notes. This show is applicable NOW. Oh yeah, got a good idea why it ended.

TV shows like MILLENNIUM, which had a message, reflected our world, and which required a second thought always tend to be cancelled. The series and its creators had a big heart and created its own universe, its own atmosphere and was willing to stand on its own. Many episodes were powerful and memorable. Lance Henriksen is an incredible actor.

Bring MILLENNIUM back!

TV-series like Millennium, Babylon 5, X-Files, Star Trek, etc. was the result of peoples dreams and expectations about the new millennia that was still beyond the veil i the 90's.

And now, 10 years into the new century, we see that the bright and exciting future that we envisioned is just BS, and these kinds of series therefore does not have the same appeal to us that it had in say 1999. Sad but true....

What you try to say is that such shows are never made anymore because we kinda lost the gift of slowing down a bit and enjoy life!

I'm currently watching Millennium, never saw it before (that's kinda strange because i'm an X-files die hard fan) and i have to say, it is absolutely brilliant! I love to rewatch episodes from the shows mentioned by you and i never get bored. I rather watch a crap episode from either of those shows than the best episodes of today television!

They are my favourite directors, too! They would most likely create a masterpiece.

However, after the huge letdown of the recent X-files movie, I do not think they should ever make a movie out of it, especially not one directed by Chris Carter.

Lynch or Fincher would never get on board to direct a TV-series-movie, anyway.

Millennium and Twin Peaks will always be the best TV-shows ever, let them rest that way, don't ruin the myth like they did it with X-files.

It's actually quite a common image... it is called the Ouroboros, or Uroboros... the Serpent or Dragon who bites his own tail.

A Millennium készítésénél valamiért nagyon ott voltak a filmesek. A szinészek kiválogatása, az orperatőri munka, a vágás, a zene. Mind-mind nagyon kalappolt. Mintha szívvel-lélekkel készítették volna. Igaz a Fox tv sorozatok tekintetében nagyon jókat alkotott abban az időben, valamit megéreztek.

X-akták, Mill., Roswell, Dark Angel, mindben volt valami atmoszférikus hatás. Ezt főleg az operatőri munkával, a kerakterekhez illő színészekkel és a nagyon passzoló zenével érték el.

a milleniumot és pl. a roswellt azért nem hasonlítanám össze, mert a Roswell vagy mondjuk a Buffy, bár remek és minőségi sorozatok, mégis egyértelműen a fiatalabb korosztálynak készültek, a Millennium ellenben simán megérdemli a 18-as karikát.

A millenium szerintem magasan üti a többi kortárs sorozatot, mert olyan lélektani helyekre ment el és olyan témákat dolgozott fel, amiket szerintem nem nagyon mertek előtte bevállalni a TV-törénelemben.

szerintem még az X-akták sem nyújtott olyan egyenletesen magas teljesítményt mint a Millennium, azért a 9 évad során volt jópár kínos és félresikerült epizód, az unalmas első és a botrányosan rossz második mozifilmről már nem is beszélve.

Köszi a kommentet, öröm látni, hogy mások is rajonganak a millenniumért Magyarországon, és nem mindenki Betty a csúnya lányt néz...
