all the men are up! the days of a fast game with cork balls on a glass top table are gone!! most of these championship foos videos on here, I spent yeeeaars playing better players which you could not even seen the ball when it was shot. Foos was FAST.

Okay, I love the video, and music as well. This reminds me of the days I used to play endless nights of foosball at Billiard Palace. I played descent up front, but always wanted to play the two and three man. Fun as hell making a clean score from the back. Keep it up!

i don't get it, why your foos table have 13 players for each team on a pitch instead of 11?

It's not very complicated. Tables that dont have ramps on the corners need the extra 2 players in case the ball goes to the corner. Tables that have ramps which avoid the ball getting stuck in the corners dont need the extra players.

When I played tournament foosball in the late 70's, bank shots were considered cheap shots...along with shooting from the middle.

Did you just score on yourself then? lol. Not sure what tournaments you played in, but most of the old school foosers that still play today and played in the 70's always complain how the tornado table isnt bankable like it used to be on the TS tables. So banking was the norm.

Hmm I learned on a crummy old glasstop, and have played almost exclusively on tornado otherwise, never finding banking difficult on the tornado but my only comparison is the old school junk. Though I play a speed game and don't bank much anymore, I haven't found a better table than a well-maintained tornado, vendor issues aside. Cool tricks, btw, but it doesn't count unless someone's actually defending you. ;)

What sucks is working hard for years to acquire a complete repertoire of bank shots and strait options on the TS & Dynamo tables and then just when reaching your peak, a different table design takes over the tourney scene. What sucks worse is how the design discourages the bank shot.

My avg goalie (tour) score was around 1.5 pts/game. I won one Worlds goalie war trophy. My reliance on banks left my game impotent. Trying to bank today makes me look worse than a rookie. That really hurt.

The latest tornado table is very bankable. With the new clear low profile side strips the ball doesnt jump out. I know a lot of people that can bank pretty consistently on the regular tornado tables (not easy) but takes some practice. What can i say, times change and it's good to change your game. Relying on banks is pretty 1 dimensional if you cant do anything else.

Have you played on the Warrior table & if so, what do you think of it? I haven't, but have discussed it with Brendon since it's inception, so am curious to try one (just for historical interest). We used to be rivals and i still dont know how much line to give him, but his heart is in the right place for the player's sake. In this annual binge of gathering new foos info on the net, i see Tornado possibly being replaced by Warrior? Maybe thats why Tornado Finally added ONE improvement.

Ya, excuses are always weak and adjusting just takes some heart and time to overcome obstacles. The different design required starting from scratch tho, so stubborness got the better of me & couldn't give up trying to find that elusive point of ball contact again & ran out of time (your game is great btw)

Starting again on Tornado was disturbing - they are a lousy vendor to their player base. One inside foos vid exposed how that side strip looks to be a cheap attempt at doing nothing.

I shouldn't say anything bout Tornado before trying the new design.

Johnny L and Brendon both could be better vendors than T because they care about the player's feelings. Lott's table was nice and Brendon assured me his table is bankable. My interest in the game now is only of historical interest to see if the sport ever gets a smart vendor behind the players. That 3-man goalie rod is cheaper to produce but lets too much slop in.

But what does Tornado care about that - or You? Nada

I much prefer the 3 man goalie rod to the ramps and I (unfortunately) play Garlando more. A lot of people are opposed to swapping to a one man on Tornado, ironically if you reverse your argument and say 'Tornado are swapping to a 1 man goalie without caring for what players want' you might almost be right.

Hmh, i can almost repeat anything you do here, and it is alot harder to pull off when there's actually adequate defenders:) But otherwise, nice job. I'm currently playing ranking on #3(pairs) and #2 (solo) in Europe tournaments, hoping to make it to the US soon and play with you:)
