  • Why should health care be treated as different from any other good or service??????

  • It should not be treated differently.

  • Don't you have the answer inside of you? Really? ouch... cant believe! Service? Goods? Never listen bout Civil Rights? No way? gosh!! I'm sorry for you, what a pity!!!!

  • the sign spining reminds me of how the democrats twist the truth.

  • ha.

this spinning reminds me of how you are so unaware and ignorant. you must have been tipsy and the key board seemed to spin as you wrote that comment.

  • Ok, So why don't you explain to me what I do not understand? Why should the goverment take care of us? Lets just see who knows more.

  • No way!!! Emeryville, CA.... corner of 65th and Hollis!! We drive by you all the time... always entertained~~!! Props and good luck!!! =-D

as long as your poking around, take a look at my video "IN ESCROW", it is a commentary/comedy centered on the housing crisis

  • Me and kevinsheaadams made the video AND the song - it's not from Slumdog dude! But thanks for the compliment!

  • hmm.... the consept of twisting and sping the sine...things twist and fly in our heads, or fly by so fast we can't even take the time to turn our heads to see it... yet that's what the Gov. wants to focas on... we can't truely understand all these reasons to get the health pacage... until we see it and feel it ourselfs... funny... I am 16 and I can understand... people in this place... sometimes just can't aford it themselves because of the life they live... I am 16... hmmm I say YES

  • I wonder where you go to learn how to spin a sign?

  • Very clever, eye catching video. Easy to understand. Memorable

  • So what you're saying is that you should be able to absorb all kinds of hospital resources and doctor services without paying any bills? And when you say HealthCare We Got It, are you tacitly admitting that the vast majority of those who want healthcare already have it?

  • Ask Glenn Beck

  • no and no. try again.

  • This is DEFINITELY the best out of the 20 that were chosen. Simple, effective, and entertaining! A+ I really hope this one gets chosen.

  • thanks contron! happy to be a finalist, but winning would be fresh!

  • thanks, great video, very fun and clever! good luck to you too.

  • Sweet way to make a point! sign spinners rock!

  • OMG!!! I love it!! Its Hella cool!!! +}

  • Doesn't even prove a good point.

  • I think the video is less about trying to "prove" something and more about presenting the facts in an interesting light. Neither side of the health care reform debate disputes the existence and issues surrounding coverage denial as the result of trivial "pre-existing conditions". It's a well documented fact that lots of people get rejected for ridiculously common "pre-existing conditions". To what extent they consider this a real and urgent problem, well there the parties may differ.

  • wow! everything about health care reform aside, this guy is good! wow, I never people could do such things with a sign!

I'm definitely giving these guys more credit now!

  • Ask (rant) and ye shall receive!

Here is a source for you, a report conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation (a private, for profit health care organization)

    Google it:

How Accessible is Individual Health Insurance for Consumers in Less-Than Perfect Health?

    Read the PDF entitled "charts"

  • what they should do is offer free health care to Students in school and single mothers and their children. Otherwise, if you can pay for your health insurance then pay it. There is health insurance that will take you even with pre-existing conditions.. I think the only thing wrong is that a lot of people are not informed of this.

  • Wanna know why I don't want health care reform? I had a spider bite on my thigh, which I thought could be a blood clot since it had similar symptoms. I went to the emergency room under my private insurance- what happened? I was seen by a doctor and left the hospital within 45 minutes. 45 MINUTES!! Told that to a canadian friend, she said you'd have to be on the floor seizing to be served that quickly in Canada. Screw health care reform, we don't want to turn into Canada! Damn canadians. :(

  • Actually it takes much more than being on the floor having a seizure for people to be seen without health insurance. Your private insurance is great but without it you wouldn't have been seen for hours.

  • Not true, doctors are required to treat all emergency patients who walk in regardless of insurance. If you fall on the street and crack your skull, they will treat you- they won't let you sit there and die. They ask for payment later, if you can't pay, oh well!

  • It's true emergency doctors are required to treat all people who walk in. However, this puts unecessary pressure on emergency rooms, since people who can't afford insurance will have to go to the emergency room for non-emergency issues. Since they can't pay, the bill gets left to the taxpayer. I would much rather have that money go to a public insurance option, which will allow the uninsured to go to a general care physicians for general needs, and save the emergency room for actual emergencies.

  • cool

  • I think many of the people who are opposed to reform are people who have had a single career/job for a long time, what they don't realize is how difficult and expensive it is to get individual coverage, a huge percentage would be declined for preexisting conditions, it really is not an exaggeration at all, they will find any reason not to cover you. For students and people who change jobs more frequently, even those in good health, this is old news, they've probably experienced it themselves.

  • Can I ask some real Americans about their views of the health reform? I live in the UK, and I see clips of the stereotypical ignorant rednecks who don't seem to understand whats going on, shouting about communism, hitler and extreme socialism on the subject of offering real health care to the people of America... I really don't get it. I live in the UK and the NHS is brilliant for what it is, it could do with more funding, but hey we need unnecessary wars and nuclear submarines too apparently!

  • You pay a hefty sum for private healthcare, but you get a decent service. As for those that can't afford it, they're shit out of luck. We're a capitalist nation, so you'd better believe that the only way to thrive here, is to have money. It sure would be nice to become more 'socialist' and extend the service to those that can't afford it because it is the humane thing to do.

  • I'm guessing your not actually russian, and thanks for the feed back, that does however seem like an overview of the situation, which I understand, not your personal opinion, but am I wrong? I would say that the "humane" thing to do, is the logical, the necessity. However, in the UK we have gone to far this way, you can get sex changes paid for on the NHS, you don't have to be a tax payer, or even a resident of the country, legal of illegally here... (few brief points, not enough characters)

  • all we need is big brother controlling another aspect of our lives

  • Lets hope the Obama administration can spin this thing into Prime Time!

  • Senate ObamaCare bill weights in at

1, 502 pages long, that is a disaster in the making. Here we go again...another massive bill that no one will read...This is the Beginning of the End for this Congress and in 2010 the dems will be no more. I shudder to think what surprises Little Maxie and his friends have in store for us. 72 hours to read this behemoth of a bill!? Only in Washington could so much bile be approved in so little time. My copy of War and Peace is 1,456 pages.

  • i friggin' L.O.V.E. it!
