  • If your power supply is 25A, 14V how are you charging at 28.8A? Still learning here...Thanks!

  • @adkinsmp for 28.8a rate, at only 8.4v (2s) the charger requires only 242watts

ohms law.. W = A x V.. this means I'm needing 242 watts at least and figuring the charger to be 80% efficient (common rating) that means I need about 302.4w TOTAL input power. my supply is 25A @ 14v.. math is easy.. 25x14=350w.

  • Here is a link to a calculator that will tell you how much power supply you need to buy for your application.. ProgressiveRC d o t com has a calculator to tell you how much power supply you need for your specific application.

  • DrFizz, what is the proper volts per cell in storage mode? I'm trying to do storage mode on my 306B (yep, bought that one too) and it discharges down to 3.75. Isn't the default 3.85? Should I be concerned?

    Thanks for all your help.

  • @shagnat There isn't a particular voltage exactly for perfect storage mode.. the general accepted voltage range is 3.8-3.85v per cell.. I have found that when I have to discharge for storage, it pull slightly passed this range and when I charge up to storage mode, it will charge just beyond it.. either way, once the load is removed from the packs they typically end up right in that range... I'ts nothing to worry about at all. Wait a while then check the packs resting voltage.

  • @shagnat (Continued) the 3.85 is really just "50%" so that you can feel safe that the pack inst too high or too low.. it's not a number written in stone. and for most users, keeping the pack from being stored full or totally dead is the goal. I'm certain you'll be fine and have nothing to be worried about.

  • Which lipo out of those 3 do you like the best?

  • @Tintamar5678 I cant pick a favorite so much as to tell you which one i like the LEAST.. Thunderpower is WAY WAY WAY over priced. it DOES NOT out perform my other packs.

  • That is a mean balance board!!! 1000watt nice!

Thats a nice set up. Sure beats the Thunder AC6 =P

    Good video!
