Hackintosh OSX 10.4.8 running Prey Game with Nvidia 7300GT

@diazrocks Sup, yep this was time ago.. Actually QuartzExtreme works by using the correct Driver, the 7300 is outdated, now i'm using a GTS250 which is the same as the 9800GTX+ on 10.6.8 SnowLeopard Now is easier to run a Hackintosh with tonymac tool. The fermi cards still unstable and glitching like 480GTX and newer. Any card with the Chip G92 works flawlessly.

Are you using retail copy+Unibeast like suggested by tonymac? yeah, im planning to upgrade my whole machine in the next few months. but until then, im stuck with this card. I've tried NVinject, Graphics enabler, customizing DSDT and the Nvidia KEXT but still no luck on turning the QuartzExtreme. can you probably point me to which driver you used mate? cheers.

Well from what I understand the 8800 driver runs WoW fine, I haven't been able to test the 8800 driver since I use a 7300 GT with OS X. If I were you I'd give it a try, worst possible problem would be a kernel panic right?

ATI Sapphire x1950 512mb is a really really good card. But if you wanna play the newest games at the best rez and fps I would go for a DX10 card. ATI's X1900 family are very good cards and can play most if not all games of 2day no problem at really high rez. Hope that helped.:P

The prey game have a OSX Universal Version, the recommended specs are the MacBook Pro or iMac with ATI or Nvidia Graphics. im not running the PC version.

This Screen native has 1440x900 19" the game run at 1024x768 with widescreen mode at 16:10 ratio, its the best resolution for that game and this screen or 1240X1024 is the following resolution, but that not fit on this screen. the widescreen games are so cool.

It's called hackintosh a PC running OSX in native.

That flip are the virtue desktops it's fully customizable and freeware but only runs with 10.4 and Quartz Extreme (Most of mac have).
