  • thank you showing this

  • Thank you.

  • Great, one question - How can I reference the view & How can one call out materials with tags - are only text capabilites available

  • @mengelmn Please note that this is not meant to be a training video. I suggest spending some time playing with the different tools and menus that Revit has to offer as well as reading about the topics above in the help menu. To answer your question directly, since the view is 3D it is already parametric and will change when the model is changed. Any view in Revit can be referenced by selecting "reference other view" from the option bar. Tags and Keynotes are available from the Annotate menu.

  • @rabisidawi - That is my point, you are creating a 3d view of the model but it is ending there the power of revit goes far beyond text, what experience have you seen with using such items as keynotes, tags, mutlitcatagory tags etc, that is where a really powerful detail could come from when one is refrencing the metadata in the model not just writing dead text notes. as you say"a Tags and Keynotes are available from the Annotate menu" can you show this in a 3d view

  • @mengelmn 3D axonometric and perspective views cannot currently display tags and keynotes in Revit. Having said that; all plans, sections, elevations and callout views are not merely 2D projection views, and can display full model parametric metadata and geometric information. The purpose of 3D details in axon views shown here is mainly to illustrate how complex geometry can be displayed in the form of virtual mockups. If you have a new trick you would like to share with everyone, please do so.

  • nice videos man! can you make a video explaining how to render and all the steps please

  • how would you explode this view?
